All I really have to say anymore after this thread was deconstructed is if you agree that a raid of creeps cannot beat a raid of freeps that are well lead, geared, skilled and balanced; like those the Three Hunter Kings are capable of forming – Jmez, Snowlock and Yelk, all Fraid leaders, all kin leaders, all hunters; kinda cool – then my question is:

What the hell are you forming a raid for? Last four days in a row at different times I’ve seen the same thing, THK solo or small grouped and craid is formed. One of the Hunters forms a raid in return and stomps the craid. Not because of skill so much. But because creep healing is underpowered. You know this, I know this, everyone but the most biased knows this. So why do it?

LOL! If you are a high school football team, and you get to play football against Peyton Manning, you don’t get your full team against him and tackle him over and over until he gets pissed off because then he’s going to get his team together and stomp your faces in.

No, I’m not saying that any of the Hunters are Peyton Manning compared to you, Arrik nor that your craid is amateurish. I’m just saying if you will agree that due to the healing imbalance especially, a craid cannot beat a fraid, then if you have any common sense then why on earth would you create something that will lead to your own demise?

Contrary to the opinion of the liars and whiners, these guys are not running around in raids from the jump. They’re not Voa or Yand spamming OOC the minute they get in the zone for as many people to join them as possible. So why are you? You’re no craven like our 8 legged fleer. You’re willing to take a wipe or two and not log off in tears.

I’ve said before, I’ve become a fan of these Iron Rangers and their leader Snowlock. They’re interesting to me. They do things differently than any other leader on Brandy, sometimes. So a lot of my game time has been spent just following them around. I track one, try to keep my distance and just see what kind of trouble these guys get into. And I did it pretty much all Sunday.

Soleus was alternating between full on lies about Sunday and telling half truths. Do you want to tell the whole truth Arrik? Or shall I? I’ll leave it to you to respond. But I’d be careful because if you omit some key moments from either of the times you two had raids going I’m going to roflstomp you pubically.

But again, the gist of it was, Snowlock was small grouped, you formed a raid against him. He formed a raid and stomped you. Actions & Consequences.

Why didn’t you just pull in enough to be competitive? Why go whole hog? Another way of putting it is, lets say you had 24 small apples and he had 24 large apples and you were going to try and balance them on a teeter-totter. Now, do you go all 24 apples on each end initially? Nope, obviously the larger apples are heavier, you have no more to add to balance them out and up you go. However, if he starts out with 6 apples, and you start out with 6 apples, and he stays with six as you add one or two more at time to make the teeter-totter balance then you can achieve that balance! What a concept!

They’ve said on these forums multiple times they don’t grow without need. Even soleus amongst his lies admitted they stayed at 18 against your 24 plus goldtags. So why not try to match them instead of set yourself on a course to get beaten or create a massive lag fest for everyone?

Scared? Maybe. I watched 5 of these IR roll over an 8-man Ofs small group one satruday morning like they weren’t even there. But that’s what these guys do I think, it’s their jam, what they know. They’re from a small server, right? Maybe they couldn’t raid as much so they have more practice in small groups than we do. But that’s not to say we couldn’t get there.

I don’t know. You asked for my advice and you have it.

I enjoy even fights, those are the fun ones. I try to make it happen but due to many factors of one side or the other it does not always happen.

Funny how most the time if i have the ranked creeps I need we are usually fine 24v24 (in evil and mere raids as well) until hordes of goldtags show up (goldtags on either side).

I can't gauge how many people join each side, its gonna be full raid v raid at primetime. Lately freeps have the goldtags though which tips the scales.

I'm very scared of people in a game and can't handle dying or losing, ya got me

I would zerg Peyton Manning any day, he deserves it.

The problem with your 6-12 is you usually have yands 24 hiding behind your skirt along with snowlock sleezing around with another 10-12 along with the other goldtags. when there's more than 2 full raids of freep there 9/10 fights its FAR to much for creeps to handle yet if u had your normal solid raid of 24 freep you would at least stand a chance against those odds but without all the dps/aoe ,healing and even the better mits on freepside its just not possible for creeps to overcome those odds unless it was yand and voa both having full raids and that still wouldn't work without being side ta and having allot of goldtags.

So it sounds like what you're trying to say here, Arrik, is: raids happen. Goldtags happen. They're as uncontrollable as the weather and unpredictable as the stock market.

Then my fellow creeps, if this is true (all creeps to "x") why isn't this same standard being applied to the transfers? Or to Yelk? Or to Voa or Yand for that matter? Every time a larger force rolls over a smaller force we need to keep in mind that this is just the nature of the beast on our beloved Brandywine and complaining about this is like complaining that your getting wet while swimming.

Right, Jeffa? Chilly? Prancy? Soleus? Evil? and everyone else that is complaining about someone else doing the exact same thing you do that you claim is beyond your control.

You cant control this.

A voa/yand raid doesnt accomplish anything.
Another raid is formed to combat the craid out looking for them

I know it can't really be controlled but remember back in mirkwood when the sides were close to being even and the freeps were dealing with close to 2 craids every night (and freeps are MUCH better designed for being out numbered than creeps are). That's pretty much what creeps deal with every day now only its not even debatable on what side is stronger anymore.

So while a yand or voa raid really doesn't accomplish much on their own IF the creeps are raided up besides sit at gv and get farmed even when they have the numbers advantage.When they follow around yelks 1/2 raid (who open field has a pretty decent chance to win 12v24) then add another group of 10-12 decent freeps . then add on top of that all the people who use the bs exploit to boost their dps to insane levels (which also increases lag btw) and it turned a day of great pvp into a giant lagfest inside a keep and just ruins the fun for everybody.

Personally i don't know what can be done to stop 1 side from having a massive numbers advantage. since every has a right to fight anywhere in the moors whenever they want and u can't stop kins/tribes from grouping up and joining in when there's a RvR fight. But there was a time NOT all that long ago when both sides seem to have respect enough for the other side to not always join in the massive zergs to just overwhelm the the otherside. I have been in plenty of creep raids who would back out when a 2nd craid came in and would let the freeps wipe them before fighting again. i have also seen freeps do the same thing . So while you might not get as many points and risk loosing a fight you would probably end up with more points overall cuz less people would rage quit and there could be more fights and who knows maybe people could start having fun while playing this game again.

Voa was not around for those good Mirkwood fights. Nor did Yand lead raids at that point. Speaking for myself I never. Ever. Lead a raid that has more freeps out then creeps. I only. Make a raid when there is too many creeps for a small group of there is a leader like Evil/Mere/Arrik and zerg around EC-GV I know he has enough to make a raid in 2 minutes to counter it. I've been banned by Voas kin for talking anything from trash talking in OOC/pretending to be someone I shouldn't to try to get them to stop GTing but the problem is even if they don't gt the raid, they have 1 person follow you and call in loc of fight once it starts.

What I'm trying to say is if Arrik has 24. Yand has 18. Yand hides. I have 6. Arrik kills my 6. I make a raid of 20-24. We go find Arrik. We engage. Yand/Voa rolls in. Creeps go to TA. I disband. Yand/Voa hides. Im forced to log because I can't win with either a small group or raid. Arrik eventually logs in disgust. Yand farms TA lawn again. Mere logs in. I log back in make small group. It starts all over again.

Either the above. Or There will be Shane with 24 VS Evil with 24 and 12 ish gt's. Shane is losing Snowlock comes to help. Freeps have 36 creeps expand to 45+ with gt's and somehow still lose. I come out and theres too much lag for anyone to play.

Honestly the only way I see good fights in the future road to Rohan is leaders identifying the strength and numbers with their scouts, being smart to avoid GT's to the best of their abilities. Using similar numbers. And if a factor like Yand rolls in a mutual understanding to back up and let the craid ranch Yand/the second fraid or craid.

I envy Jmez, Shane, and Snow because I never in all my leading as a freep to 14 rarley get good open field fights. There was a time in Mirkwood when Mere did 24v24 and we had some damn good fights. Other then that its all cat and mouse the last year.

I run around lag free because I use protection. All creeps need to buy themselves a lagphylactic. I found mine on Craigslist.
