Welby, I assume the pockets in the shorts are for the shuriken?

My family has been in this town since 1946. I grew up with not only my immediate family, but grandparents, an aunt, an uncle, and a cousin here. I'm the only one left now. Time to go...
You probably have so many pics of that house,.if not,..take more. whenever I visit my hometown I am a bit sad to see the spot where our old house 'used' to be. It was knocked down, along with the first row of houses of the development to widen the highway years ago, to make room for stripMalls and OutBacks.
Have a very safe trip, Del! Hope you have good AC in the car!

First thing's first! Interwebs!! hehe

That does sound very lazy and actionable. They gonna be jerks? They must have some kind of insurance for such things, hopefully. Really, in this heat,..it's outright dangerous!

A lot of running around to do. I need to get my allergy shots, get a dog license, meet with the college veterans coordinator, get the verdict on a potential tenants backgroune check, and of course cut up some tree branches.
I can use some waffles! Good luck with the new possible tentants, BD!

Ever since I found out that the realtor wants to put my house on the Interwebs this week (which was just last Monday) I've painted one bedroom, packed several boxes, pushed a queen size bed out into the garage for donation, cleaned an entire kitchen to a spit shine, vacuumed several rooms, hauled mass quantities of 'stuff' to Goodwill and reorganized the garage at least twice. After which I have collapsed into a puddle of pain. If I have one, it hurts.
Garaf, I am so sorry you are not going to make it to PAX this year. Eledhwe will also not be there as she will be exploring the Kootenays that weekend. However if it still available, I would love to take your place and your pass. I promise to take extra good care of Alditha and try not to get us both into too much trouble! In fact, she would be welcome to stay with me as I'll be in my new Seattle home by then. Hopefully that will save you some monies for the hitchery. Please let me know how much you paid for your pass and I will gladly reimburse you, either in US or Canadian funds!
Off to do more cleaning before the photographer gets here. Why can't people just believe that my house is adorable and clean and spiffy and the best place they would ever want to live, just because I tell them so???
Lorindah, you are totally free to have Garaf's Friday pass - and no worries about reimbursing for it. I think getting to stay with you would be payment enough if you're up for it I feel your pain about preparing a house for showing - my brothers just sold their place and had to do a lot of cleanup in a short time too.
'Morning, Landrovalingas. I'm still here, reading mostly everything, just not posting a lot. Glad your power is finally back, BD, and big *hugs* to everyone else who's having difficulties, big or small (seems there are lots these days... where are the good luck 'chillas when you need them?!)
Anyway, I'm off to do that whole "work" thing. Have a good Friday everyone!
