I'm curious as to what people think about low levels in the moors. Several questions/scenarios proposed below....
I tested a completely fresh Rank 0 warleader against a level 46 minstrel (the player knew the class well and had quest gear) yesterday, and it was really no contest--the warleader won with barely 2k morale lost. But I thought maybe a sturdier class (champion, guardian, warden) might do better here or against an even squishier creep class, especially one that doesn't know what they're doing/a poor player.
I haven't tested this yet, but I think a strong heavy-armor player at level 65 would have a good chance against a rank 0 creep (the creep being a poor player or not).
Would a freep in the mid 40s in the hands of a strong player who knows their class well and has decent-to-strong gear be at all viable against a fresh Rank 0 creep (starting skills only, no traits or upgrades whatsoever)? What about 50s? What about 65 (10 levels below the cap, as was the cutoff for entering the moors in Shadows of Angmar)?
What level do you think a strong player who knows their class and has strong gear (maybe instance/raid gear for their level) becomes viable against a completely fresh creep?

A lvl 46 has no chance, it will miss far too often. They really should raise the minimum lvl for freeps to enter Ettens.. just another thing they have not bothered to fix since SoA.

I was under the impression that this had been changed so that levels did not matter as much in ability to actually land a hit.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the BPE and resist chance doesn't scale in PvP like it would in PvE. If a level 46 tried to fight a level 75 mob you would probably miss every time. Not true against a level 75 creep. BPE acts as if it is on-level in the Moors.
That being said a low level freep probably doesn't do enough damage to be of much use. I can imagine a freep in their 50s could take on a rank 0 creep and a freep in their 60s could take on a rank 1-3 creep or so.
The only marginally useful low level freep I have seen was when someone brought their level 40 something guard to just be a walking shield wall for an RK and LM. With me having no stun skill, it was essentially like the RK/LM had about 5k extra morale.
Freeps: r8 Mini
Creeps: r10 Reaver, r8 WL, r8 Defiler, r8 Warg, r7 Spider, r6 BA
I was wondering about that, I have a R3 Reaver with no traits except for Charge CD and HfP2, I'll ask a friend of mine who has a lv 65 to spar me . I'll also try and do it with a couple other levels, 55,60, and 70 maybe.
