Master of the Fist and Deadly Thrust should be lvl 50 deeds, but the gambits you need to practice to complete them are only learned at lvl 60 and 64 respectively.
What's the deal with that?
AFAIK all class deeds should be available at lvl 50, at least that's how it was on my Champ and RK.
It seems like a lot of deeds follow this pattern. The Orc and Goblin slayer deeds
for Lone Lands are marked as level 10, but you'd be gutted and your head put
on a pike if you went out to Lone Lands at level 10.
Or it could be that the big changes to the warden this past year moved skills around and the deeds remained the same. If so, I'd guess it is not a priority fix since the rewards from deeds are now independent of character level anyway.
Possibly. What would the current gambits be to earn Deadly Thrust and Master of the Fist traits? My Warden's lvl 50 and those are the only 2 he's missing.

I'm fairly sure this is what happened. My warden was in her late 50s and had all deeds except the one that needs to execute Dark before the Dawn finished when the update hit. Suddenly she had one trait (fortunately finished) when she no longer knew the gambit needed to advance the associated deed, and another deed (the DbtD one) partly finished that she couldn't work on for several more levels, again because she no longer had the gambit.
Ultimately you'll find that finishing the deeds later than before won't make or break your game. To the contrary, it was a pain to do that last deed before, when you could only execute DbtD when you were below half health (a point that my warden almost never reached while levelling, and in the rare moments when she actually got that low in health I'd be sure to forget that gambit even existed ), so you're definitely better off now, even though you can't start working on the deed until later.
Ok I see. Well it appears that makes Wardens the only class currently that doesn't have access to all class traits at lvl 50. Kinda screws over players that can't/don't want to lvl to 60/65, but I guess I'll get them eventually.
I'm actually curious, is this a real category of players? I know some folks stay at really low levels and hang out in the Shire et al, but why would someone get to 50 and then stop?
they changed warden a lot with roi, and they rearanged on what level you get certain skill. Some are moved to the way higher levels then they were before, thats the reason why you cant do the deeds.

Dunno. Someone might enjoy vanilla but hate Moria and everything thereafter, or don't have the cash to buy xpacks. Personally I love Moria but have no intention to take any alt further than Mirkwood since the game got pretty boring in later areas, so they'd be done at around ~65.
Most people will have most of their class deeds done by 65, but since EoB and DBD aren't available til 60/64 it might just take a little longer to complete.
These ones will be easy though. As a Warden EoB is going to be your best friend an DBD's damage output is better than most other attacks (and has a nifty power restore)
Remember trying to advance the DBD deed before they removed the morale gate? Ugh
