Someone keeps destroying a lorebook page I created
I created a lorebook page for the 1v1s in the Ettenmoors. A general rundown of the general locations they are had and the etiquette that is most widely accepted (though things do vary from server to server). Another user keeps changing the lorebook page from this:
to this:
I know lorebook states, "All contributions to LOTRO Lorebook may be edited, altered, or removed by other contributors. If you do not want your writing to be edited mercilessly, then do not submit it here." But is there a limit to what an individual may do? Does the above quote give anyone free reign to go and destroy pages on the lorebook?
While it is true that users can edit any other user's entries in the Lorebook, everyone still has to keep to the Terms of Service and Code of Conduct When making edits.
What you describe here may border on harassment and/or violate one of the other rules in the LOTRO game and website terms. I'd save a copy of your work, then just send in a report about the page and see what happens.
Worst case, leave it be for a while and then go back. Most of the time, people who thrive on harassing others lose interest and wander off if they aren't getting immediate results.

Good luck.
How does one exactly report harrassment on the lorebook?
There is a history for every lorebook page. It should be easy to find out who is making this change. Either put in a ticket to the forum system. Or write a private message to one of the forum moderators like Sapience explaining what this person is doing.
Unfortunately, what you are experiencing is the core weakness of a wiki.
Unless stated otherwise, all content in this post is My Personal Opinion.
Well, I'm sorry, but I can't help ya there I looked on the history though, and our 'troll' in question is this guy http://my.lotro.com/user-702645/
Best of luck, and thanks for the article

I dont see why someone would have so litlte respect for someone else's work.
*sigh*.
My guess is it is either someone that has a personal problem with the OP, likely from some in-game drama, or someone who adamantly hates 1v1 PVP, or PVP in general. Obviously, the OP participates in PVP and 1v1 given the subject of the lorebook page- I would be not surprised if he has ruffled some feathers in the past.
Regardless, there is no excuse for repeatedly deleting his work.
Or it could be a PvP enthusiast who believes the only "rules" in PvP are those set by the game and developer. More likely, in my opinion, than a PvP hater.

It does not excuses the vandalism. You can do many other things instead of erasing everything and put unpleasant comments.
This is ridiculous. I don't care if you strongly disagree with the writer of that lorebook article or not, deleting his work over and over is wrong and classless....it seems there are far too many people like that in forums and in game, and their numbers seem to be growing, alas.
