The Argonath already in Mists of Pandaria...

Looks Like WOW's Mists of Pandaria beat Lotro in presenting the Argonath...

Wow, you are right! I mean besides the race of the statue models, the weapons held, the stance, and the absence of a river (not to mention the cartoon quality of the graphics) I would have thought I was looking at the "real thing" or the movie....

Sorry for the obvious sarcasm, but this is bad even for WoW trolling.

Two gigantic stone statues guarding a valy entrance.
    Ah come on.
Of course it´s a blatant copy. Down to the faux martial arts palm gesture.

And nothing new to a Lord of the Rings fan. Pretty much all current fantasy RPG games have blatantly copied one or the other thing from Tolkien. Especially Blizard, whose last original thought was a decade or so ago.

Blatant copying, worse graphics, cartoon. If you want a copy, not the real thing, go play WoW!

Not to forget, there was a Argonath kind of setup in the Loch Modan region, way back from the times of "vanilla" WoW:

I thought it a respectful nod towards Tolkien, when I still played WoW and leveled in that region.
in my thoughts and in my dreams they´re always in my mind
these songs of hobbits, dwarves and men and elves
    come close your eyes
    you can see them, too
