How many Sloders transferred servers? I see a bunch of people from Elendilmir posting on old threads on this forum, and wondering if they're all xfers. Is this server really that bad? :P
It's not that bad at all. Many of those who transferred are wishing they could come back. Hey, the grass always seems greener on the other side - until you get there.
If they loved their new server so much why do they still post here? I know, you could use the argument "they know people here", but much of it is that they miss it here, even if they won't admit it to your face.

Oh, k thanks for the posts. Also, seeing as how I only stepped into the Moors about a month ago, dafaq is there so much drama on this server? There's people saying Arise suckz! More people saying Apathy suckz! More people sitting inside a keep when they know ONE R5 warg is around that wants to fight, so they decide to stand right next to the Cap-General and fight me there. So there's drama and stupidity... Why? Oh, and Tennis. All I have to say... Tennis. I personally don't have anything against anyone in this game, it's a game, I'm not gonna take it seriously, but he's an &&&. Sorry, but he is. Oh and Ak, who's your creep?
tbh my views on Silverlode have changed in the last week or so. Getting pretty tired of the complete zergness, especially from the creeps and the hypocrisy centered around it. Pretty seriously considering transferring. We'll see!

I agree, but I won't for two reasons. One, I have friends on this server and the drama is pretty easily ignored.
Two: 8.28.12 .
Slug are you getting GW2? So far the only two people I know of that are getting GW2 are me and Bytez. I'm getting it, but I dunno when. It's probably gonna be soon though .
Pvp used to be good when all the Slode vets still around.
And all those xfers you talking about are all baddies, they went to diff servers and rage quit tho.

Other servers are waaaaay more zergy than this and have the same amount and even more drama than Slode. Im not only talking about BW, it goes for even E as well which is the new bandwagon transfer server. Transferring will only give you a change of scenery that will get old fast. The reason you get sick of the game is because it has deteriorated alot and this goes for ALL servers, not just slode.
That said, I cant stop anyone from transferring but I hope you will take my advice since I've been there and done that and now Im back.

I played Guild Wars a ton and our Guild got as high as 15 on the leaderboard at one point. ArenaNet though ruined pvp there far more than theyve ruined pvp in LOTRO and it left a really bad taste in my mouth, since at one point GW pvp was the best in any game out there imo. They were even less responsive to complaints than here too. So I dunno I doubt I'm going back.

Guild Wars PvP wasn't that bad. But seriously, WvW looks so awesome, even if GW PvP was cr@p, it looks like they learned from their mistakes. I'm not sure about GW1 PvP though, haven't played it in a while.
Personally I enjoy E for PvP about 100X better than this server. But you also have to consider play times. Pretty much nothing worth doing on this server during my play time.
IMO the pvp is garbage on this server regardless of time. I tend to find a lot better fights on E. Sure, it's not all sunshine and roses because when it all comes down to it there is one simple fact -- it's still LoTRO PvP.

Yep, GW2 bound! Sending out invitations soon for a farewell party. I'm probably going to get in mid-August I think. I'm going to un-sub my account right after I get my 500TP so I can at-least buy the Warg class, as well as enjoy the aspect of the Epic Quest line.

Well, I left with others because it was slow and just too easy.. Ive found an abundance of good players on E and on Ridder until i took them with me :P
But I will admit sometimes I want to go back to Slode just to face the same people that have been there since the beginning. A lot of them are gone though :/

I transferred at the beginning of the year. Silverlode is a boring, dead server
Brandywine was much, much more fun. There was action all around the clock, unlike this server that only had 1 hour of action a day that was usually a rez circle/EC camp
I havent logged into LOTRO in a few months now (this game is a time sink)but yeah, Silverlode was bad, is bad, and will be bad for however long before Turbine is forced to make server merges
