So I've been sitting in the 70's for a while now...slowly edging my way to the current cap and the ability to group up with kinnies and run some 3 man isens etc.
Thn the Great River comes on sale...I've got just enough TP to buy it...and real life happens.
Surely we should have some sort of ability to buy items from the store without being logged into the game!!!
The avaiability of most items in the game depends on the selected character.
Check the lotro store while you are in the login screen, only a few items are listed here. It's not worth to create a web interface for these few items and the few players who don't want / cannot to log into the game.
I understand you'd like to, but what Turbine would get from it, is just not worth the time and money needed to create a web interface.
