Well, I run a HD 4250 Mobility, and I'm in medium settings for all but Draw Distance and Landscape Imposters. And I tend to run at an average of 35 FPS landscape.
So yeah, you can run it. Just start off at Very Low and move up from there.
Check to see if the grapic card had a warranty on it. I know when I built my nephew computer he had a 3 year warranty on it. So if it fails I can get it replaced with the same type of grapics card or better.
Basically what he's doing is asking if anyone would like to donate a video card since his died but doesn't want to come across as begging for a hand out or soemthing.
No harm in asking.
Sorry mate, I gave away my last spare vid card, a 9600gt I think, to a friend. Was an annoying whiney thing anyway. The video card that is :P
I don't know what kind of video card I've got, offhand. It does pretty nice graphics. BUT ... it overheats, and first thing I know, I'm looking at a black screen and I have to power off the computer, restart it, and get back into game from the desktop.
Even though its cover is off, it has an extra small GPS-powered fan blowing right into its guts, and another fan halfway across the room blowing more air at it, and a huge box fan in the window blowing yet more air in its general direction.
And there's no more room inside the box for more fans. I'm going to have to get a whole 'nother computer -- next spring, the Valar willing -- before I can see the grass swirling around my feet.
But you know, you can never really tell what a card is capable of until you try it.....I was told by many minimum specifications required lists and even many tech support guys of many games that the little Nvidia GeForce 8200M G on my laptop wont even run most of their games.....but guess what.....I tried them anyways and they work wonderfully fine....I can even run Lotro on high settings (except when in crowded areas or raids).....
So dont go for proposed specs and figures given by the card or the game....just give it a try

No, not asking for a donation hehe, jus a lil bit of yorkshire sarcasm. I am gunna try and run it when I get near my PC, is it better to uninstall LotRo first (Hi-Res pack) and reinstall the standard? or will that have little effect?
It is supposed to be under warranty still, but Zotac are being a little.... problematic to say the least!
