Since two nights ago my character, Giftel, cannot invite or accept Fellowship/Instance/Skirm either group or solo or even do a quest instance because the message says I am already in a fellowship, (though I am clearly not). I've tried logging in and out of the game, rebooting my computer, staying off-game for hours, switching my social option 'Accept Fellowship' off and back on, typing /leave raid; all with no luck. My name/pic icon on the upper left of screen does not show I'm in a fellowship when I right-click. I reported this as a bug and was told to talk with a GM, which I did yesterday morning. The GM, +Bletchley+, said he could not resolve the problem from his end and asked that I write another ticket, which I did, but have not heard from anyone since. Not sure what to do now. I now have lots of quests stacking up that can only be done via instances....which I cannot do. So much for being VIP.
This started two nights ago while I was in Tuckborough Instance (raid?) with my kinship. The leader tried to give the leader role to me, but strangely it did not work. I finally had to leave the instance so everyone could continue to play with a leader. Since then the game seems to mistakenly think I am in a fellowship. Though, if *I* try to invite someone into a fellowship with me they get the message that only a leader can invite them. I cannot even do quest instances. Please let me know how to fix this problem.
Thanks in advance, Giftel
P.S. Luckily my alts seem unaffected by this so far.
Just an update in case this ever happens to anyone else:
Several GM's tried to fix my problem -- even taking over my character a couple of times -- to no avail. I was finally told that the engineers would look into it. The bug was not fixed until the next server update took place a week after the problem had begun. Everything seems in working order now, thank goodness.
