I appreciate the attempt to show us what's going on. I don't think this really answered any questions I have about how the implementation is going to work -- and in fact it raised a new concern that mounted combat may be a bit too much like a boring console scroller for my tastes. But the communication is a good thing.

Maybe I'm easily pleased but as first impressions to the mounted combat go, I didn't think that looks too bad at all. Infact, i'd say it looks rather fun.
Will minstrels who prefer to dps as playstyle such as myself still be able to do so with mounted combat? Just asking since I heard on the video discussing healing on mounted by Minstrel. Thanks.
Well, he said that minstrels will maintain cries and other baseline skills. You'll also be able to use the "Red Dawn" stance for additional DPS capabilities.
