I have spent so long wandering around the Last Homely House. Every time I leave I can see the ring showing 'Interior Quest Location'. I've been into every room and no one has a quest for me. The ring appears to be in the Hall of Fire, but whenever I go in there's no quest giver there.
I am starting to go mad over this - does anyone know what I'm missing?
I can't remember, but doesn't Bilbo Baggins in the Hall of Fire give a quest? Something to do with riddles I think, but I've not been in there for ages so I can't be sure.
I /bugged this in last days. I have the same problem on ALL my chars. I completed all quests that are possible to get there, including some crafting or fishing nonsenses.
Many philosophical problems are caused by such things as the simple inability to shut up.
I've recently been experiencing this as well, and thought of three possibilities.
1. When you hover over the ring from outside, it says "Interior Quest Location". Perhaps this ring just indicates that this location is a location where there might be quests (but not necessarily);
2. Trivial quests (below your XP-gaining level) may still be in there, you can turn on the trivial quests display in your options;
3. Crafting vendors often have the first quests you can get (level 4 or something). Try talking to the scholars in the library perhaps.
That's pretty much all I have. Hope it helps.

There probably isn't a quest you've missed. There is a similar ring on the festival area in Duillond,but there are no quests there except at festival time.
IIRC - There are several interior locations where the Quest Ring does not work. It will always be up regardless of the quest availability. Seeing the Ring means there might a Quest inside for you.
Make sure to use this form: http://forums.lotro.com/new_bug.php?
to report situation where you encounter this issue. That way Turbine can assign resources to fix the bug. There has to be some complicated logic to handle the Turn on Ring. Turbine has to consider completion, has quest and eligible for every possible quest that starts in that location, has a step in that location or is turned in at that location.
