Remember as a RK with 6.6k (IIRC) morale, and 1 Audacity...she's basically going to be target #1. Haha no matter how much DPS she pumps out.

To put it simply, I was no longer playing because of college, Ach was getting tired of the game, and the officers were having grief and differences of opinion amongst themselves and when that really came to a boiling point so did Ach. So rather than watching the kin suffer a downturn and need rebuilding he decided it was a long enough run and ended it in order to focus on more important things in r/l. I urged him to do it, leading a kin for 4.5 years is no easy task and he was done with trying to get people to get along.
As fun as it had been, its nice to be able to come online after over 6 months and be casual and have no expectations and hear about who can't get along with who etc etc. The game is appealing to us again because it feels like open beta to us. We never even intended for TDH to get as big and popular as it did at certain points. It was a great ride, and we met many great people along the way so overall we don't regret it despite the downfall.

Mmm, glad to see the players may change, but the excuses don't.
I don't need to explain myself to you, I have paid for this game and I have every right to play how I want to play. If I want my gear, I will do what it takes to get my gear. Period. You shouldn't take this so serious in the first place, it will ruin the fun for you.

Hey bud I have some advice for you.
Take 6 or more months away from the game, focus on what matters and come back. You will find your perspectives change a lot. People have every right to do whatever they please as they pay or have paid for their sub. People want their gear they will do whatever results in getting it. Getting frustrated over something so small is pointless.
In the end griping about it won't change a thing and is a waste of your time. If you cannot realize this, than it is your own loss.

This is going to come as a shock to most but I'll have to agree with Ach and Brit, play how you want to play if your not having fun then do something else in the game that will let you have fun. We all know on Windy the action for either side gets sad and lackluster do what you can to make it better but also stop and think what you would be doing on the other side. Also breaks are great, had a forced one for the past 6-8 months now and really other then forum pvp I'll just stick to waiting until August for GW2 for some real pvp and just enjoy the pve again on this game.
That and get ate by wargs when I do get the pvp itch. Bad wargies!

Wait what we totally agree on something!?!?. I take it back. That guy has every right to get way too worked up over what I do in the ettenmoors. I am the end of all pvp, and I ruin everyones ability to have fun in the ettenmoors.

Too bored to quote all the posts I'm responding to, so bleh.
1. My posts are hardly ever specific to a certain player, unless I specifically (go figure) say so. Here, Rhiannon was just a metaphor for a much more widespread malady on Windy, so don't believe for one second that I care either way how she plays, 'specially seeing as I've only seen her out a couple times or so. The sentiment she expressed in her post just echoed what happens on ol' Windfola on a daily basis, so I decided to remark. Make of it what you will.
2. My posts are never against a certain person or group of persons, ever.
3. While you have every right to play how you want to, remember this: we (as in people like me, "the whiners") pay for the game too. That means we have a right to as much fun as you do. This being an MMO, how someone else plays directly affects our experience of it too. Ergo, we have a right to be annoyed.
4. Like I said, I enjoy the game immensely. I would, however, enjoy it even more if there were certain changes in the attitudes of some people towards their fellow players. I can't quite see how it's wrong for me to hope for said changes, but eh, I'm just a dumb creep, no?
