ok, I have tried to do this final quest of the book 5 times.. and I just can't do it..
I can see how a Capt or Warden can solo this.. but me being a hunter.. I can't...
I'm getting torn apart about the dundleings.. not to mention the dread from the wraith...
can someone shed some let on how I'm supposed to do this quest?
and before you say, use CC.. I am... I am getting torn to shreds.. the dundelings hit so hard.. and Nona does not seem to really do much damage to them... so I'm on my own to die...
One caveat: I don't have a hunter higher than level 26, so take what I say with a grain of salt. As you said, CC is a good idea. Make sure you're actually traited for CC to make it work as best as possible for you. Use bow-chants, crafted traps, other Hunter consumables etc. Everything you possibly can to give you better odds. Don't forget to use a hope token to fight off that dread the Nazgul gives you, and eat food that gives you ICMR. If you absolutely have to, run a few skirmishes and trade in some marks for a token to use your skirmish soldier on the landscape for a short while - just long enough to finish the combat in that quest. Also, if you have a captain friend, have him buff you (Motivating Speech and Tactics: Relentless Attack). If you have any destiny points left (And you are VIP), use some to buy another +1 hope, mitigations, damage bonus, etc. Hopefully some of that will help.
I would suggest gearing up your toon then, 832 agility is quite low. I actually had to go back and watch a youtube video of this quest because i couldn't remember it at all, I flew through it with my hunter (and 5 other toons as well) and never had an issue.
what Gear should I be looking at.. as I don't raid (my kins is very small) and never have any luck with Raid PUGS... so I'm kindd ain a rock and hard place...
