    Warden Kiting rotation

Hi guys, what skill rotation do you use to generate aggro as you are kiting in instances?

Assuming you can't hit anything, i dont really see what else you can do but [shfi][shsh]QR[fish] conviction.

wardens suck at kiting just saying. But you know its true med armor no self heals or buffs and masteries have a cooldown.

basically the only things you can do are

    [fisp][shfi][fi] for EoB
    [fish][spfi] for aggression
    [fish] for warcry
    or
[shfi] wait [shfi][sh*] for conviction or some other way to get Convict/DoW

    am I missing any.

Yes, you are forgetting that you can back out a gambit builder with QR, so you can do conviction, or any other gambit, every 15 seconds. A good way to start is:
[shfi] [shsh] WR [fish] - Conviction
    [shsp][fifi] - Shield Up

Once CDs on masteries are up, you can hit
    [fish] [spfi] - Aggression
[shsp][fifi] QR [shsh] - Shield Mastery

From there you can just spam conviction, or aggression, or EOB, etc.

    Kiting worthwhile?

In what instances does kiting actually offer a warden advantage? I have problem enough distancing myself from the MOB and lose all my good HOTs. Plus melee DPS is busy chasing the MOBs--usually ineffectually, and the healer can lose LoS or I can run out of range. And for many instances, there just isn't the room. I was just curious how to get far enough away from the MOB (boss I imagine) to make this an effective strategy--or which instance this is useful.

There's some times where kiting is advantageous to fighting the mobs. Leeches will eventually kill non-raid trash mobs that are kited long enough. Sometimes you don't want aggro off of the big bad Dargnakh but want to maximize evasion (conviction is a bad idea here). Other times you just want to keep the trash and yourself alive so your group can go to town on DPS.

It's a tactic better used in 3-mans than in fellowship/raid content. I have heard of it being used in ToO Saruman but I'd prefer a straight up tank 'n spank there to maximize HoT's and have the benefit of Block and Parry.

The worm population was on a steep decline in Moria with no explanation.
Orcs claim a crazy hobbit, some elf, a captain and one crazy @#$ warden were responsible but no witnesses can confirm it

I kited Sword Halls hard mode the other day (first time in, didn't realize I had to do something to make it normal mode.. still don't know how to NOT make it hard mode lol).

I just ran in circles with teh whole army chasing me, using my jav abilities, conviction w/ masteries, and EOB w/ masteries. When my EOB was about to kick off, I'd run *though* the huge mob for all of the lifetaps to take effect.

Champs can 10sec force taunt the DPS target off of you, and by then the thing should either be dead or someone should have done enough damage to keep aggro (if you're just kiting with Conviction).

I have only kited once @ 75, which was solo tanking Saruman, and I even gave that up because it was less efficient than just straight tanking them.

Kiting was a much more useful strategy when endgame was at level 65. In the School at Tham Mirdain instance, you could kite the last room's baddies around the courtyard while the other two people saved the books, then they would come out and pick off the baddies from the center of the courtyard. You didn't need heals because nothing stood still long enough to damage you more than Conviction could heal.

The other instance where kiting was viable was Survival Barrow Downs, but I haven't seen anyone try that since a month or so after it came out.

only places I can think of where I kite mobs now is Fangorns Edge T2 at the end - I will kite the orcses while the other 2 spank the trolls and sometimes in Foundry T2 Forge Room.

I dislike kiting since you loose the ability to generate the stackable self buffs for BPE

Fangorns edge is where I do any kiting. I stayed on the hill until I saw "trolls made of fire" chat from the Ents. I ran down the hill with buffs up and BP EoB ready. Hit the first big group then start kiting. Use Goad for Potency then use masteries for double EoB spaced out about 5 sec apart. Then go back to goad and repeat as necessary while the other two dps the trolls. I used [fisp][shfi][shsh] to get it on the run. I think next time I'll try buffing evade as well.
