Thread: Need Help with Master of the Risen

Ok, I have been having problems with this quest. I have to go kill Gúrdring and 10 wights. they are all up on a plateau in Trollshaws. catch is.. I cant find the 'up ramp' into the area. I've run around the hill a number of times and failed to figure out how to get up there. can anyone who remembers this quest post coordinates or even a screenshot of what I'm looking for?

i believe iirc that you go to the second hill and up then bridge across to your point. may be wrong but think thats it.

Ok, I'm doing this from memory, but maybe it will be enough to get you there. When you are at Calenthon's campsite, with your back to him, head off to the right. Not far, there is a right turn where you will go under a stone bridge. The bridge is up pretty high so make sure you look upwards.

Stay to your right, which will take you up an incline into some ruins. Calenthon's bird is up there as well. Through the ruins, you will come to the same stone bridge, and now you can cross it.

On the other side, you'll have to make your way through a number of areas with a few wights in each, and some hillmen. At one point, you reach a fork where the left path leads you into some other ruins, and the right path leads you into a ravine. There is a ruin at the end of the ravine, and Gurdring is inside, on a raised platform. He has a lot of friends there, and he's tough! This is not an easy solo quest. You may want to bring a friend or two.

if the above directions don't help someone else this may:

the path starts at 27.5S 15.1W face east- there are two paths- left and right. take the right (and heading up) path.

Just got to the final goal.

Anyway, up the first hill, past the bird, over the bridge, up the hill, through the ruined wall, the path splits just past here, take the Right Path, to the end then turn, (R) up a mound and through another crumbling wall.

The big guy is up on top of a plinth.

He is Lev 40, gold and with about 5000+. He is with a man who fires arrows.

To get him you will need some very strong fellows.

It might be an idea to scout the way first, solo. It isn't difficult and you could probably do this, only killing a couple of easy monsters as you go.

That way, when you take a Fellowship of high level players, you won't feel such a dork when you can't find the way.
