I had the same problem - bookmarked the page to buy it from, then went to buy it the day after and the download option had gone. Finally found an alternative link and just bought it.

    http://impulsedriven.com/lotro

How long they keep selling it is another question, but its still available now.

I have seen this page before... but without prize and checkout option.
Maybe the move from "normal" gamestop to to the impulsedrive page just took some days... and well went mad

Yes, it works fine. Gold cap increased, 2000TP, horse of the whatever it is. Furthest I've got so far is the forsaken inn so haven't got to any of the Quest Packs yet. Got sent an email with the key and just put it on my existing account (which I started shortly after lotro went on steam).

yea works fine.. i made it myself. you get all the staff and as far as the quest packs concerned you can check if you got them by visiting lotro ingame store quest packs. you will see that the packs are not available for selling anymore so you are fine.. im 42 lvl and i bought mithril because i wanted the packs.. and the turbine points came as a rare candy

So the ppl who wants the mithril can get it from here!

You can still buy it, it's just a hard copy now. When I clicked on the link you listed, it looked the same as the link from last week, just without the option to buy a digital copy.

I bought the 60usd - 8850 points deal (Enough for all quest packs that I want), but this mithril edition seems to work too.
