Unhappy [Gamestop] LOTRO Mithril Edition PC Download not available anymore

    Hey Lotro Mate =)

I Started this wonderful game for 1 week and, as i expected (obviously !), i completely falled in love with the game. So i decided to start buying contents and i'm actually focused on Lotro Mithril Edition that seems to be the best deal to start with !

However, because i got no luck, the game is not available for PC Download Buy in Gamestop since... Today... I'm French so, obviously, its impossible to get it shipped here without adding an extra 30-40$ for shipping....

Does anyone know when it will be released again ? Or another way to get it ?

Help please, i really need the 2000 TP on it for summer sales

Edit : Please forgive me if my english is not that good, i'm still a student 8)

You can get the steam pack from http://store.steampowered.com/app/212500/ which is very similar to the mithril edition and it's downloadable

Tu peut cherche le steam package vers http://store.steampowered.com/app/212500/ qui donnez presque le meme transaction puis tu peu downloader (pardon my francais)

    Thx for answer

However its the not same package at all, less content and sadly, really more expensive 30$ against 19,99 $ (less than 16 €) for mithril :/

Edit : Nice try for the French translation !

Why not buy the Turbine Mithril Edition from a European seller:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk
as one example? Even if you could buy an electronic version from a American company, it will cost more than the listed price. You have to add in currency conversion and Value Added Taxes which would probably add another 2- 25% to the listed price. Unless you could find a company that is flying under the EU radar.

Unless stated otherwise, all content in this post is My Personal Opinion.

Paying using paypal (gamestop accept paypal) you dont have fees for € to $.

Thanks for amazon.co.uk i'll think about it but its a bit more expensive than us, and its not a downloadable version (unfortunately)

So it will take about a week to be shipped here, and i wont be able to purchase the 2 quest pack july 2nd & 3rd

But thanks for help, really ! I keep amazon in mind if i cant find anything else

    Salut,

Thanks for your answer, moreover, written in an almost perfect french mate

About the Steam Starter Pack well i dont think its the best deal :
    Steam Starter Pack : Horse, 3 Quest Pack (about 1800 value TP), 1000 TP >> 30 $
    Mithril Edition : Horse, Fellowship Pack (2950 value TP), 2000 TP > 20 $

    Here is the issue :/

I know it's not the best... but surely it's the best available now You also have done an error. The steam starter pack cost 28 EUROS, not $

But you should agree with me that the 2 region on sale this next two days it's a great deal

And... I'm French, so I hope I'm good at it as it's my native language ^^

    Oh, cool
You live in the USA ?

Yeah, if no mithril edition, steam pack is the best (Well, maybe the Legendary edition of Rise of Isengard is as good as steam pack).
But i keep hoping for Mithril edition considering i dont have a lot of money

Not at all, true French guy ^^

Maybe you should take this one : http://store.turbine.com/store/turbi...oryID.58516200

You could skip the entire Isengard things if you do all your quest and by going directly to the great river.

One advice, if you are in Holiday : Take a vip-sub for 2 months and play like hell. It's unlocked a lots of things that still apply to your charachter even at the end of the sub (not for a new charachter )

So, your choice is yours I could say

Yeah i could skip Isengard or useless level Extension, but because i'm addicted to Tolkien's writting & world, i cant even think about it

I'll buy VIP 30 days next month to unlock all gear of course

Do you play via Steam ? If so, maybe could you gimme your ID so i can have a lotro friend

I'm pretty old InGame so... no, I start way before Lotro has hit steam.

Which server did you take ? If it's Estel, you could always say hello :P

(With 30 days, you have enough time to go lvl 75 -i did it in 20 days with my burgs... without the 25% exp stone-, work your traits and start to have good gear and jewelry)

Lol yeah Estel server too =)
Maybe i'll see you tonight !

However i will buy the 30 days VIP only to unlock Bags & other stuff i dont have to pay afterward, i dont want to rush the game to level 75 in 20 days lol

Hope for me, mithril edition will be available before end july 3rd (I Got enough point to buy the july 2 deal)

You cannot buy digital anywhere, as the 29.99usd version from mithril.lotro.com links you to gamestop >.<

The day I decided to buy it, it disappeared, yay.

Looking for solutions. Haawp please! lol

The steam starter pack comes with a special steam horse that has the best stats in the game 68% speed, 250 moral, and it is account wide so all your characters, and future characters, get it. You also get 1000 bonus tp. Normally a horse like this costs 2000 tp per toon in turbine store. for an extra 10$, this is the best deal offered for Lotro since lifetime membership.

We had the option for mithril edition for up till now, no reason for em to remove it.

Maybe its an error in gamestops system.

Because, lets remember, Lotro store sells it for $30 usd, but it links to gamestop... so well, nowhere to be found.

If the extra 1,000 TPs is a crucial consideration, then box version of Mithril Edition may be your best option.

Consider though, that the horse in the Steam Starter pack is a much better *value* than the Mithril one. Each applies to every character on your account, even when you create new ones. However, the Mithril horse is 100 HPs and 62% speed, whereas the Steam horse is 200 HPs and 68% speed.

That may not be enough of a consideration, but I think it's good to have all the facts.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the Horse carac mates =)

But There's a more expensive quest pack on mithril edition + 1000 extra points, and its actually more important to me to get these points to enjoy summer sales & getting more quest pack

    Collector's horses will come afterward

    Yeah Maybe but

    Steam Starter Pack value :
    Better Horse (2000 TP)
    Quest Pack (3) (1800 TP)
    1000 TP

    Mithril Value :
    Horse (500-1000 ?)
    Quest Pack Fellowship (2950)
    2000 TP

So i think its actually a better deal to get mithril nope ?

That's bazzar because I just bought the Digital Edition last night from Gamestop. They have the Physical copies in store, but htey are hard to find as players are buying them up left and right so the stores are having trouble keeping them in stock. which was why I bought the digital copy last night. Maybe I should buy the 3 copies my store has and put them on ebay now that the digital version is gone.

    Edit:

I found 11 copies within 5 miles of my house... score

Actually, multiply the horse points by the number of toons you will play. Any you will never need to get a horse for any toon until lvl 75 and war-steeds with Rohan

Please don't hold your breath waiting for Turbine to reply... You'll pass out long before they ever do.

Sold 9 copies of the Mithril Edition yesterday on Ebay by doing a 1 day "Buy It Now" Sale. I'll do another one in a few days after I pick up a few more copies around town :-)
