could someone help me with virtues?

im only lvl 22 atm but i wanna know what virtues i should be trying to get the most, i already have a healer and a tank, and what i wanna do with my burg, is just dps, i.e, trait qk, and only care about agility, and maby might if i cant get an agi part instead of it, no vitality, will, etc..i just wanna hit hard and fast (i chose the burg rather than the champ or hunter..cuz i like the burgs lol) so i just wanna get the most dps out of my class as possible. any sugestions what virtues i should put on for that? tyvm in advance for help

Virtue traits are defensive so, if you're looking to virtues to boost offense, you're not going to find it.

Since U6, mitigations are king. I use a fairly standard set of virtue traits across all classes: one set for solo PvE; one for raiding/PvMP. For solo PvE, I stack physical mitigation, morale, and the primary stat for that class. In the case of a burglar: Compassion, Innocence, Valour, Zeal, Determination. I use the same basic layout for raiding/PvMP, except that I stack tactical instead of physical mitigation: Fidelity, Tolerance, Valour, Zeal, Determination.

At level 75 if you are using determination you should be shot.

Zeal, Tolerence, Fidelity, Innocense, are must-have's, last slot (depending on what your doing at the time) Either Loyalty, Valour or Charity.

You'll want to swap around depending on the instance. Most raids need tact mit & resistance, so go with virtues high in tact mit & resistance for those. My only "always-trait" is Zeal.

And in the same post you recommend Loyalty. Loyalty?! I don't know whether to laugh or just shake my head and walk away.

Loyalty = Vitality = Tactical Mitigation (Small amount), Physical Mitigation (Small amount), Morale (Small amount)

Its not a bad all around trait. The fact that you suggest that you should laugh at me only tells me you dont really know what you are talking about yourself. It was optional as stated and not bad as a "filler" trait.

Quote the whole thing mate "Depending on what you are doing" was the disclaimer at the end. If it adds to all 3 of those very important numbers then maybe its not that bad.

If you're soloing sure, (though I'd pick loyalty over determination as well) but if you are grouping, the tank should be getting hit and you'll need to adjust the traits accordingly, also if you're raiding you're likely being pummeled by tactical and resistance based damage types and will need to adjust accordingly as well. Realistically there are 3 different virtue setups for a burglar easy, and even then you're going to toggle 1-2 of the virtues in each set based on your armor build and what if anything you are capped at.

My Current Solo setup is Zeal, Valour, Compassion, Innocence, Loyalty. Most of those will change if I'm not tanking, and then change again if my worries are Area effect tactical and different damage type resistances. What I can say with most certainty is Valour and Zeal will be on the list no matter the setup, so focus on those two while leveling up and don't skip them.

I'm going to go against the grain here and say that I'm not a fan of Valour as a virtue, on any class, including Burg. It's straight morale (minor amount) and a tiny amount of might. I'd rather have mits or resistance.

Possible exceptions are when you absolutely have to max your morale for whatever reason.

I have found (indeed yesterday in ToO as well) that in general resistance was designed by the Vogons, it appears to be useless. Mobs tend to spam whatever it is you are resisting and thus you simply delay, not for long, the inevitable. And that's tested with additional food buffs etc attacking on level wargs in Nan Curunir and under level ones in Isendale's warg den. Unless the fight is on your terms, ie from stealth with stuns and anything else appropriate to slowing or stopping the mob's attacks. With full balls out resistance traits and soup, I would say that a debuff of some form would appear >70% of the time, and every single time I did not take the thing down before it could respond. As a result of this I binned resistance traits and stuck mitigation ones in. The debuff rate was pretty much unaffected BUT, and this might be a clincher, the crippled debuff can overwrite without it being apparent, unless you try and pot it to find it appears not to have been cured, and I could not test for that without burning daft numbers of pots (and I am too mean to do that) As a result of this not especially exhaustive test on 300 or so mobs including random pulls in the areas I rate Mitigations>>>>>Resistance and that is a real pity in my view, as Resistance should be a natural Burg thing, with mits being for them as uses thick tin skins.

Made for some other benefit to doing the warg slaying deed:-)

The following virtues should all see some use, some time, depending on how your geared/traited and what you require for whatever you are doing.

    Determination
    Valour
    Innocence
    Compassion
    Fidelity
    Tolerance
    Honour
    Loyalty
    Justice
    Empathy
