    Swap Outfit slots

This certainly is no must-have, it would just be something convenient.

It would be nice if we could swap the outfits stored in certain slots - to "sort" them to say so - without having to rebuild the outfits at the wardrobe.

It is sometimes nice to for example swap the hat you use on outfit 1 with the hair-thingy you have on outfit 2 (especially my female toons would like that ;-) ). Or even combine two outfits in a third one.

But it should only be possible with clothing you already have used in an outfit + equipment (which I also see as a special kind of outfit). Thus if you want to add something new, first use it in an outfit and only than it should be swappable in my opinion.
(Note: swapping an outfitted item with something in equipment should not be possible, since outfitted items are cosmetic, the other way around should be possible).

If I understand you both correctly there is way to achieve this. Have two outfit slots indenticle apart from the one item you wish to change, e.g. The wearing of a hat or helm. Lets assume this is done on outfit slot 1 and then 2. Now key bind both slots via the options menu - keybinds. Here you can bind a key to instantly display outfit 1 at the press of a button and outfit 2 at the press of another different button. Then while in game while wearing outfit 1 which has you with your hat on all you need do is press key for outfit 2 which then displays the same outfit but without the hat so it appears you have taken it off.

Now if I have totally missunderstood you both then I appologise.

What we meant is to be able to combine the items of 2 outfits on a moment when you do not have the outfitted items anymore in your backpack.
Currently you than cannot create that 3rd outfit without going to your wardrobe, vault, chest or wherever you've put those items (if you have stored them at all) to first pick them up, even though you have slotted the items in 2 outfits.
