after upgrading linux I copied my game folders I had backed up from wine 1.3 on mint 12 into the new wine directory, but pylotro coulde not auto-locate the game directories. after much frustration I copied my turbine folder to a different directory that wasn't hidden and directed pylotro there. and it seemed to work, til it got stuck:

If they ever fix this thing and my craft info accurately displays, I think I 'm going to faint from the shock!

Note: this game was not coded to run with OpenGL so you mite have lots of problems running it also I have friends that run it on linux and they have the folder path as c:/Games/LOTRO/ Once you have the simple path set and you put your LOTRO files in the path you must set your permissions by right clicking on the Games folder and set it so you the user can read/write/delete files. Also you must be in admin to set these settings. Once that is done and you have wine running you need to have a path made that says: c:/Users/your username/My Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online The reason you need this path also is because when your client loads up it reads the file name lotro.keymap which is in that path. I hope this helps you!
