Hearken Wilson,..dost thine perky ears flinch at yonder rukus?

    Squeaketh Squeaketh!

Aye,..tis the sounds of merry footsteps flittering about the morn,..welcoming the sun.
Methinks the coffeehouse's doors should be swung open in greetings!
Last night's revelry shall continue here,..but nay, the wine and spirits shall remain below,..now is the hour of Coffee and Tea! The cups! The mugs! The plates! all in order!
Hast thou the scones today, Wison? Perfect! and Bacon! The Maple Kind, of course!

    Service with a Whisker, Wilson!
    Service with a Whisker!

Good morning,.I am late to work,..last night I met some ol'coworkers for a night of nostalgia, gossip, laughs, and beer.
Today,..same ol same ol at work,..

in the meantime,..I have not check on these Production diaries in awhile,..
so here is the latest! actually, second to latest,.there is a #7 out there,..but this one has Dwarves!!
no real spoilers,..but it's fun to see them behind the scenes,..and in BARRELS!

Hi all. Just popping out of lurk mode long enough to say that. That trailer is awesome. I can't watch it here but the one I've seen was and I'm sure this one is too.

Other than the shingles mess going on over my right side, nothing else is new.
I'm getting better though and I hope all is well with everyone too.

As much as I have been preparing and planning for this move, there's still apparently no way to greatly mitigate the stress and panic of it. Doesn't that sound like a nice, calm sentence?

Aieeeeeeeee! Blah! Argh! *^*& storms! Help! *shriek* *whine* *hide*

It will get done ... as my stress ratchets up, the adrenalin kicks in to allow more new and amazing feats, but DAMN. (Pardon me, please.)

Anyway, just a quick hello. I saw Brave for a badly needed break Saturday and it was very good. I'm happy that it opened well.

Faythe, I wish I could make those shingles go away. It's been way too long now.

I will continue to be quite scarce for another week and a half or so, but on the other end of that time
frame, I will be in Pennsylvania. It'll still be busy, but more in a fun way and with much less pressure.

Comments from lurk mode (that I can actually remember that I wanted to make):

Val, I am pleased your husband got to come home (a day early even). I hope he recovers well and that you get the help you need to aid him in doing so. Also, I'll second or third the others in saying that situations that cause a need for venting and/or makes one wish for a friendly ear is indeed *exactly* why we're here. Even if there are slow days, I know friends are lurking. (Actually, I'm occasionally one of them, especially as of late.)

Doc, I know there aren't a lot of real parallels between our situations, but there really always is hope. I know about being in a dark and depressed place. It did get better. Hang in there!

Slammy, I read about that awful coach, saw where it was, and you immediately came to mind as someone whom I imagined would indeed be outraged. I hope that jerk gets a suitable legal punishment, not to mention social censure.

Garaf, I envy your post-move state right now.

Welby, it's nice to see that work is actually a little slow for right now.

I hope you are all well! I miss posting in a more coherent, regular fashion, but I'll be back.

    Take care, folks!

    Afternoon, Landroval.

    Good afternoon.

Thanks for opening Welby (and Doc! )

Y'know it seems like it's been a rough few months for more than a few of the coffee crew. With Canada Day and the 4th of July coming up, it's my hope all can take a few moments to appreciate their blessings in these wonderful countries of Canada and the US (not to mention all the others who chime in here on Landroval). Hope you find time to celebrate and relax in the coming week.

I don't have a lot planned for this coming long weekend, but I expect it will include some work on the deck, a soccer game or two, a BC Lions football game tomorrow night, and hopefully a chance to see Brave. Maybe some bbq burgers in there as well. And some time to traipse through the golden eaves of Lorien.

    Cheers friends.

I typed up a "Ganbare" style post a day or two ago but then forgot to click the submit button before running off and handling the next dozen little things that popped up. I seem to do that a lot lately. >_>

Anywho, Alditha and I are effectively settled. We're still waiting on a few particular items (bed frame, table to complete our table, etc) before we do any sort of official house warming but we do have an official date for the other thing. 12Aug2012 we'll get to drag in folk from all around (including my folks from Texas whether they're prepared or not) for glorious, geeky hitchery. Details are still mostly tentative but we have a notion for how things'll go and we've got a pretty sweet venue so we're getting there. I'm working on my second bracer this afternoon so I can have my get-up all ready to go by then. Lots to get done in about 6 weeks or so.

It occurred to me that I've been more productive on a day to day basis as a "house spouse" than I ever was at the former place of employment. This amuses me. =)

Anywho, I have some suede to tend to. Ya'll have a grand one!

Ganbare! I just learned a new phrase!

Wow Aug 12, 2012 - the moms don't mess around do they - they've got you two on a schedule! (starts checking calendar for Pax 2013 - wondering if Garaf and Alditha can take a 3 month old along... what? )
