I'm looking for a mature and helpful kin to join. I've played the game so far almost exclusively solo, due mostly to the fact that I'm shy, and I fell like I'm missing out on the community and fun of the game. I would love to find a kin that is willing to help with quests and help me learn how to do the instances and things like that. My character's name is Rufrid. Thanks for your time.

You may also want to look into Defenders of Serenity. 6 months ago I was in much the same boat as you. I had played LOTRO (my first real MMO) for a month or 2 exclusively solo, had a level 30ish character, and needed to learn a LOT more about the game. I also wanted to get into fellowship quests and instances. The leaders of this kin were so helpful and fun that I stayed for good.
We have a core of established players who are all helpful and welcoming, and we've recently added several players who are brand new to the kin (some new to LOTRO) and have characters of all level ranges. You'd fit right in.
