WW has been hit with a huge influx of players in the last week or Two. Some are rerolls from other servers like me but most I am finding are actually NEW to the game.
Now if we are honest we will all admit we were new at one point too and had a million questions with no idea how to get answers. I realize seeing the umpteenth person ask how to get a mount in regional or advice gets old really fast. But to them it is a new and important question. It takes us no time to answer it with correct information. Why did I say CORRECT information? Because I have been seeing people deliberately giving out incorrect information and sending new lowbies as far as the lone lands for a mount. That is just mean.
My plea is as follows. For the longterm health of the server we need active friendly happy people. We need to be active and friendly as examples to the new folks we have coming in. It take us no time to answer a question in regional or call out a troll who has deliberately given false info. If the new folks are raised up right they will be assets to the server instead of vanishing numbers.
They will not be new forever and we only get one shot to make a good impression. Let's all pitch in and help.
For some reason this does not surprise me at all with the behaviour of some of the most selfish players here on Withywindle, whom have surely fallen under the 'shadow' of stupidity.
I think that it is about time that we had more 'Policing' of the servers and that the 'Minority' of Idiots are kicked from the server and banned.
Harsh possibly--but why should the Majority of players here have to put up with the 'stupidity' of a few.

Ok,i had enough. First your Post about : I play like i want no one has the right to ask me to not do this and that,to tell me what is right or wrong.

Let me be the one who tells you that your Post pictures you as one of those Idiots that you want kicked from the Server/game.

You are no different then those u call "stupid minority", you think your way is right and the only one,and everyone else is stupid and should get banned. Your Opinion is just that,an Opinion,and as you say in your other Thread,everyone has its own view on things,you got no right to call them stupid,and demand a kick or ban so you and your friends can enjoy it here more.. If you think you do,so does the small stupid minority that still didnt get kicked! (I realized it,u can too,nothing will change,you will notice that after you stopped trying to make ppl aware of it)

P.S Sorry to derail your Thread Cat,i agree with everything you said,although i havent encountered any people meaning harm to new Players so far,some just like to make a joke or give a unhelpful answer,most of our Players however havent been like that.. Maybe someone had a bad day

I actually watched someone do that to a newbie. We need to look for and help our new folks not run them out of the game.
Sending a poor newbie player to Lone Lands for a ride is really at the border between a prank and just mean.....
No amount of questions would justify that. And frankly that kind of poeple might have sent others astray even if there were just two asking the same question....
As for the derailing of the thread....so much tension on WW forums....accusations abount, some directed some not.....people loosing their tempers....not right....simply not right.....at least take it out of your system until the summer festivities begin, id hate to get people all bummered out then....
And dear Catwyn, even with mean gestures like that in the end the vast majority IS helpfull and and thr vast majority of proplr ARE being helped. At least i hope nobody sent you astray ;-)

Nope it wasn't me. In fact I left the first kin I joined because people were doing it to new kinmates (after I tipped off the newbie). I have since seen something similar 3 times in various public chats. Hence my plea.
That was NOT Zringo's kin btw it was someone elses.
