Thread: Winged Herald not working in Ettenmoors

Hello,

I was able to claim my Winged Herald horse yesterday but the Flight feature does not activate. I was chasing a Flayer Warg and he jumped off the Hoardale Waterfall and I attempted to pursue in Flight mode. I was unable to activate the wings (is it automatic?) and the horse and I fell to our death.The Warg must have used a Safe Fall potion and he escaped. I have not had time to test the Winged Mount in other zones. Does anyone know if the Flight feature is restricted in Ettenmoors?

Maybe you need to try a higher cliff like the high moor in the trollshaws?

Very good idea. Do you know if the Flight mode is automatically activated or do I need to press a key (before or after) the jump?

I believe flight mode is currently bugged. Turb is working on a fix and flight mode will be available to purchase in teh storez Soon(TM).

No no, you have it all wrong. Coming soon will be store consumable horse food, "Take flight", which will let your steed fly for 30 seconds.

Is that included in the Riders of Rohan expansion? Does it work with all mounts or just the Winged Herald?

It's voice activated. After you jump, you need to yell, "Fly, horsie....FLY!" at your monitor.

Did you buy the flight feature in the store?

Kept trying that. It didn't work until I gained an audience of three other people. When they walked in and stared at me funny, at last my horsie was flying! Boy, were their faces red! *flaps*

What was the plan? The horse catches the warg by its neck and then hoovers over Tol while underneath the other creeps scream in terror and then drops it on their heads?

The plan was to activate Flight mode on Winged horse and stun the Warg while he is falling.

I assume the warg was Pureblood because he runs away a lot.
