The view from here
It occured to me today that for those of you who do not follow us (or any of the Community Team) on Twitter, you may sometimes miss out on some of the 'around the office' stuff we share for those who do.
So, we thought you'd like to see the new addition flying over my desk (ignore that pesky whiteboard, it's just loaded up with plans and schemes for the rest of the year).
LOL. Nope, it's mine. Horse Dev actually sits a safe distance away.
Given that we've established that the Community team is somewhere forward of the developers [such as Orion and Zombie Columbus of the many classes, Monster Play..] and near the Producers (though, not necessarily the executive producers..)..
I wonder how you can call it a safe distance...
After all, even the +QA folk are dangerous folk to be reckoned with (Khyler of the shrowded Palantir team...)
The NetOp's team has Chinchillas (which we all know can be ridden to war!)
The GM's wield the Banhammer...
It appears that in fact our Community team is at potential danger at every turn! Watch out for incoming Warband Maneuvers!

Fun fact: He put the banner there so I'd stop sitting on that part of the desk when I walk over to visit him. =P

Don't forget about our Facebook page! and Twitter page! =^_^= Questions on our policies? Read the community guidelines! I try to answer all of my PMs, but I get a lot! Sometimes I may not get back to you, but I have read your mail!

It seems like you guys are like family.
COME INTO THE MOORS, AND FEEL THE POUNCE OF BORNTOOWN! Borntown - Champion - 75 r7!!! - *OG* Borntoown - Warg - 75 r7!!!- Pirate Lords - back in action
I wonder what the notice board says behind the banner..
I suspect the check mark might read something like this
"Read all unread posts in inbox by 2PM /local", while one of the -'s is "respond to # posts in inbox by 4PM."
Wingwoz (on hunters in LOTRO), "I prefer to think of them more like Elvis or James Dean. Terminally self indulgent but their presence in a party, nay, the very fact that they ever existed, makes the world a cooler place."

Nice banner thingie. Is it available in pink?
Soooo... It's my whiteboard, so the 2012 events is a festival list for this year (most of which is also posted in the community calendar).
The intentionally blurred stuff is....intentionally blurred, but really not all that exciting. I keep the current likes, followers, and plus 1s from Facebook, Twitter, and Google plus written on the whiteboard. Just figured those three numbers with no context would make for some exciting (and wrong) conspiracy theories. If you're that interested you can actually go look them all up by visiting our pages on those sites.
The stuff under the banner with the exciting red asterisks that you can't see... you can't see. Yet....

Naughty Turbine!
This makes me wish even more there were an actual physical legendary edition with the banner as gift.
I should search and find the April's fool spoof our kin-leader made some years ago announcing RoR on ou kinship forum... The Legendary was supposed to offer a banner as well (and we all ran into it).
For those who want to know what is under teh banner I suggest you dress up like a courier and walk in and memorise what you see. Couriers and delivery people see a lot of stuff most people dont.
Geez, guys: It's an allegory;
The white board is a list of all the current issues in LotRO right now, being left there and covered up with Rohan.
CM says: Forget the white board! Look at the banner! Look at the Banner!
<sry to be the troll, but needed to say it>

Couriers never get past reception.

It's a Tritton PC510 HDa headset. The folks at Mad Catz hook us up with them. We sometimes give them away at events.
