Thread: deciding to apply for a kin ..

looking a decent amount of players not too large that i dont get an opportunity to play. im debating between massive dynamics,reforged,balrog riders and shadow...thoughts ???wanna know what their members think ... want a nice environment to play with...im currently level48 champ taking my time in moria ..right now

Roughly reforged is a end-game raiding kinship, even though we recruit lower levels at times, we try to tell them, most of the time we don't have time to help them all the time with leveling. We gear players up for raiding mainly, though our atmosphere in the kinship is good and friendly, if you really are looking for basic help leveling and none raiding, i'd suggest shadow more and for sure massive dynamics. Even though shadow does end-game i'm more towards they do a lot of other things, Since balrog/reforged well prior balrog not sure now. since a lot are in death's bane. Do tier 2 raiding over tier 1, same with Explorers, which a lot of us cleared 2-3 wings so far.

Remember massive dynamics is huge, uhm just look around the game (not bree for the obvious reasons) but if you hang around the 21st hall abit in moria send a few tells ask around you can find some decent kinships. also like syc said BR/Reforged are big on endgame from my time in shadow they do recruit alot of lower levels (mid 50ish) and are also pretty endgame so i'd suggest holding off on applying to them for awhile.

*Edit* well like elo said we are a huge kinship no one gets left out and everyone gets heard, with all the people in kin it can be really easy to find a group for quests/instances if people are up for it \o/

Large Kins are not always the worst. For multiple reasons.

You can almost always find a group (Why not use glff you ask? Lol, because its glff), You will never be alone when your online, 24/7 so those times at 2 am when you cant sleep, Yha we will be here too.

Not to mention, the range of levels, crafters, and classes.

My honest suggestion would be to consider the following kins depending on your viewpoints.

You want to be a hardcore raider - reforged, or shadow
You want to be a slightly less hardcore raider, And a dedicated moor hound - Balrog riders
You want some raids, and general tomfoolery - Massive Dynamics

MD is not a hardcore raiding kin, nor are we a moors dedicated kin, We do a bit of everything, and were really well rounded. We are mainly social, and casual in everything we do, we get runs done, we do raids, and were active 24/7. Our motto is, we provide the community, You provide the direction.

We recruit starting at any level, and we have over 100 lvl 75's active in the last 12 days. or less.
depending on the level you join, we help you out, and start training you with raiding, and such at lvl 20ish when you get the Gb runs, then Hele's at 50's.
MD is not a kin, Were a community.

From my personal experience Shadow is pretty good if you want a slower but definite progression, which can be more fun than a hardcore raiding kin if you clear firsts with them rather than grinding something on farm mode. The BR members still around are all really nice and skilled players. Chocla is in Death's Bane so avoid at all costs unless you want to be framed for things you don't mean >
Reforged is a lot of fun and has some great people to make friends with.
