Thread: Looking for Kinship

I am castinga net out, looking for a kinship. I've browsed around a few kinship pages, and have a couple ideas of what I'm looking at, but I wanted to see how this goes as well. Here is what I'm looking for:
A mature, fun kin that is *at least* 18+, if not a bit older. (Wanting to stay away from 'childish' behavior)
An active raiding kin that has things running on the weekends, EST prefered
A good mix between that casual and raiding playstyle. Won't jump down your throat if you can't make a raid, but still knows *how* to raid (in terms of explaning runs to new players, and keeping focus during a raid).

Like I said, I've got a few ideas for kins I'm looking at...but I'm curious to see who responds to this and what suggestions I get =).

From those points I would recommend Hope is Kindled. The most active mature kinship on the server that I know of, I believe their age restriction is 20+.

Thanks for the plug Gormard. You sound like you might be a fit for Hope is Kindled, depending on how much raiding you want to do (by raids, I assume you mean the 12 man end game raids like ToO). We have experience running pretty much every raid (and also PvP, etc) but if you're looking to do T2 raids or multiple per week, then I suggest a hardcore raiding kin, of which there are a few on the server. However, they might also be a bit less "casual" about whether people show. Anyway, if you're interested send me a message sometime.

We typically run 24/7 and we are the largest active kin on server. we always have members on.

were not a hardcore raiding kin, nor are we a small community, But rather a larger community with a bunch of smaller aspects and groups that make up the larger one.

We have been on server for over a year. and we most definitively take care of our members.

I just checked your website … MD has 1685 members? Holy Cow. Thats a bunch. How are raids going?

On and off, here and there, we only have around 700 to 800 active members in lotro, the other 14,000 are between games. or involved deeply in other aspects of our guild.

we do have a solid 1600 in minecraft, and a good 5000 in EvE.
