Thread: My upgrade crystal didnt really upgrade.

I used a small crystal on a lvl 60 2nd age book. I have damaging and fire target resistance legacies as well as fire critical. I also have a Will legacy and -7% skill power cost (above the line). After applying the crystal the ONLY thing that changed was the tactical healing inherent legacy.

The Fire Skills Critical Rating legacy should have changed for sure right? It's a ratings based legacy. I was also hoping the two resistance legs would be improved too. And shouldn't the -7% skill power cost have changed also? And as I recall on a level 75 item on another toon the stat legacy was upgraded by crystals but here it wasn't.

That is very disturbing to see. I've heard that crystals can upgrade certain things but it's still a gamble within that pool of items. I'd like clarification on how star-lit crystals truely work too

Possibly there are break-points where a second crystal would add to something other than that one specific, but frankly I can't see where that would happen on these.

Maybe the item is bugged , or the crystal works differently on lvl 60 items .

I have a very similar lvl 75 book , and all of those legacies , including the stat , were improved .

When I put crystals on my lvl 75 FA dps book, Fire Crit, the Will legacy and Tact Healing Rating all went up. When I've put crystals on other lvl 75 books, the resist ratings increased as well. So yeah, just seems like something's up with the lvl 60.

What's the max level you can upgrade your Fire Skills Crit to?

I put 3 crystals on my lvl 60 FA hoping for some boosts, yet like you the only thing that was improved was the outgoing healing rating.
