Thread: Ah WB/T could creeps please have something to spend gold on?

My defiler has 22 Gold and nothing to spend it on, he's only R5 and I can see that horde growing into a huge pile. Im sure that's what makes him so slow... carting around great heaps of gold worthy of Smaug. If Isen can only bid 5 what would happen to my poor defiler if Saruman found out about how much gold he's lugging around in his loin clothes.

Alas creeps have nothing really nice to spend all that gilt on since we get stuff thru Commendations now.

Could you ask the devs to find us a gold sink? Maybe, convert all that silver to comms 5:1, 10:1,... 1:1 (oh that wont happen but... it would be nice <G>)

Maybe give us some skins for gold or perhaps a nice new cudgel for my defiler (which changes every time I log in to different style but I dont know why...)?

How about something consumable like: no broken legs from fall creepside: 100s a pop? <those would sell really well>

I'd be happy if they put in some fluff to spend gold on. Silly cosmetic consumables, fireworks, etc. It's nothing game changing, but there really isn't a huge amount to spend gold on right now anyway.

There is nothing more I would love in the Moors than to have creeps lighting off fireworks and throwing themselves off cliffs - And not breaking their legs.

In this area at least freeps and creeps are equals, there's not any goldsink on either side

They're thinking about it, but you'll have to pay 995 TP for the feature of spending gold.

fear/wound pots very usefull, also pvp more you be more likely to run out of it if you stop pveing :P

Im rank 5 and cannot get the "good" stuff until rank 6 and those use Commendations to buy. I do carry some pots with me but grinding commendations for Audacity purchases leaves me with now 23 gold. And this is only one toon.

Slug mash isn't all that great and I die fast anyway - big waste of my time to buy something that really doesn't help. Like the "health pots" that give negative moral so when you're low on health and pop one you kill yourself. I call them "free renown pots". Might as well die from a 8K epic conclusion from a RK, at least the RK will have wasted it on a R5er. <G>

Besides you have to PVE to get commendations, I don't know any other way.

Having something fluffables for creeps would be a great offset. How about that Forced Emote Bat thing from October, throw one down and all the bats fly around. It could even be a kewl "buff" like my defiler flies. Bats in the Belfry for interrupts even! Ohhhh that would be kewl.
