so i was just wandering what the hardest hit you ever did was (eg. from stealth, from behind, aim + reveal weakness + location is everything etc..) just wanted to know cuz im making a burg and im interested in this
i have seen hits up to 6k with crzy gear and all buffs on but minus the QK devestate buff. my max hit at 670 agil is this one
Fliblo scored a critical hit with Surprise Strike on the Half-orc Archer for 1,509 Common damage to Morale.
Swiftshank scored a devastating hit with Surprise Strike on Nightarrow for 10,189 Beleriand damage to Morale.
This was setup a few months ago in the moors against a low ranked(at the time, now R12 lol) BA. I had a captain there with oathbreakers + to arms and wore the Orthanc auto dev aim set. I had just gotten a FA symbol from a lootbox before they nerfed the drop rate and wanted to do that for lulz. I'm sure higher is possible with an even better fixed situation.
I had BB and I believe oaths was on at the same time, this could have been higher due to using the PvMP Unseen set where you lose around 3k offence due to agility loss.
have hit for just under 20k on Draigoch's body a couple times in phase 3, not sure if I had every possible buff or not.
I think I've gotten over 10k on a Saruman clone (again, not sure if I had every buff I could have had, but it would have been during the armor strip+oathies, I'm sure, so like Draigoch, you may or may not want to count those as representitive. pretty sure I had a ring though, so wouldnt have had a ring buff), and possibly on Iorweth (with only 2 burgs in the raid) or Kalbak as well, but less certain on those.
I'd say 12k would be a top end hit on Bosses 1-4 in ToO when fully buffed and with only 2 burglars, It would of course be increased depending on the amount of extra burglars in the raid.
Unsure about with the +% damage rings in Saruman T2 as I'm always a ring bearer.
My biggest so far was just over 11k, and that was with 2 burgs in the raid, t2c acid, and oathbreakers never went off.
I'm not really stacked for big hits, though, and can easily imagine a burg clobbering something for 15k (without it being draigoch). I'm stacked for high crit rate, so that I can sustain high dps over time. I'm typically the guy pulling aggro in my group (despite the -10% threat) and I'm in a raiding kin... so...
The Hunters were asked to post their highest Heartseeker back in the day when Heartseeker ruled their DPS. Shortly after that Heartseeker was nerfed to oblivion and to this day is just a shadow of its former glory.

Funny thing that Hearseeker never ruled their DPS because the cast was far too long - but it was to strong because a hunter could Onehit a MP...

Nerf to Heart-seeker apparently wasn't enough because they still can self-buffed. Or at least a FEW can with gear swaps for burn hot damage etc providing the creep has low audacity.

When they used Heartseeker as a 18-22k opening shot that longcast time made no difference at all.
You missed my point.. I was trying to bring up the point this thread is about a similar subject. That being a single opening high damage boasting thread.
Just don't go crying later if they nerf your opening crits, when some are in here boasting about how high the damage they can attain.

PvE doesn't count because it's full of all sorts of crazy numbers.
Hence the attempt to get some standardisation and some basic figures with personal skills only.
Also, I don't see how PvP is any different in the numbers that fly around (they are just as affected by fellowship boosting), surely this rationale would apply and help PvPers just the same, would it not?
This was by myself in Forges of Isengard, Galtrev daily.
Devastating Crit - 7,077 Beleriand damage against Forge Slave.
lvl75 1st Age Dagger from stealth, Reveal Weakness (+8%) --> Location is Everything --> Aim (with Dinhigil ToO Armour)--> Surprise Strike (I also had the Quiet Knife buff active from the previous kill). No Battle scrolls, no foods/drinks, no token and no other buffs from another class.
This is with my regular set-up of armour, traits and virtues. (these never change except upto 2 traits depending on which raid I'm doing)
