Hobbit Hoedown hosted by The Alliance was a major success! If you weren’t there, here is a little summery of what happened. The band consisted of three hobbits, Sevanstarre, Everose and Morninglorie. As soon as the clock struck, the band started the show with their song “Green Onions.” This immediately got the crowd up and got their hearts a’ pumping. The songs played included a wide variety of jigs and a wonderfully sung piece by Morninglorie and Sevan called “The Phantom of the Opry.” The finale song was an absolute crowd pleaser. It featured Sevanstarre singing about two girl hobbits lifting up the kilt of a male hobbit. This song required a volunteer and Ratfish was chosen. The song went underway and everyone watched and laughed as Ratfish played the role as the kilted hobbit. Overall, the event was a crowd-pleaser and we thank all who showed up and supported us!

I'm so glad this event went well (considering it was at the same time as a Windy Acres Ranch horse race). With your permission I am lifting a copy of the above notice for inclusion in the next Landroval Times Report.
Oh yes, this was a wonderful concert with lots of spirited music for people to dance to. (I know there's a war on, but still, we like to have morale-boosting events, too!)
