Thread: Taking a Break from LOTRO

Now is as good a time to make it officially official.

I'm taking a break from LOTRO. Growing frustration with Turbine's business decision of selling skills (in the form of Creep skill purchases, star-lit gems, store bought super pots, powerful LI legacies, etc.) has brought me to a point to where I feel that I need to take a break. I don't know where or why people hate me as much as they do in GLFF, but for now, you've won, haters. I'm done with LOTRO for now. I'll still be poking around here and there, but my main focus for the next few months will be the new MMO, The Secret World. Imagine playing Silent Hill, but as an MMO. I'm currently in the closed beta and I'm having a blast.

I'll still be hovering around here and there as I've got the legendary ROR package, also I'm in my kin's vent channel. The current officers for TLC are doing an amazing job at keeping active, and I still plan to host kinship events to keep stuff fun and interesting. Plus, I pop into the Moors every so often, but probably won't be as dedicated as I was previously.

With that said, I'll see ya when I see ya.

Don't know who hates you Toa, or why, but you always seemed like quite a decent guy. Sad to see you go. Though i do agree with what you say.

It's always good to take little breaks from the game. Have fun and not sure who hates you....weird that they do.

I don't get who would "hate you" when ever I am on my warden and you are on I ask you a question no matter how stupid it is, you politely answer it, not many people do this... so who ever does hate it is probably because:
1) Jealous that you do have more friend than them in the lotro world
2) Jealous that you are a better player than them
3) They QQ because you own them in the moors
4) QQ because you out tank their guard
and many more...

Good luck on the new MMO though =) hope you have fun, when GW2 comes out I might go play it for a bit, seeing as ROR is coming out and ROI is still bugged in certain places, maybe ROR will fix them, or break them even more... when the time comes we shall see
