reveal weekness, cappy mark and that rk thing (1k dmg on whatever lightning dmg or something) is debuffing.
Sorry m8 but i dont agree. I will putall of the above on you every single time we spar. If was the other way around creeps would do it. I have sparred wargs before who "mark" me. Just a natural method.
I'd say it's fine to use debuffs/buffs before a fight. As long as it is a skill and not an item.
Where I disagree with debuffs in particular is when, for example, a freep goes up to a creep and whilst jumping in front of them they are applying debuffs. The creep, however, has not jumped at all but now has debuffs, some of which you have to wait to remove.
If you want to debuff, do it when your enemy has jumped. It may take some time and may not allow for all debuffs to go on but at least you know they want to fight.
Also, debuffing/buffing is NOT accepting a spar. If you've gone up to someone and jump infront of them, they start buffing/debuffing, don't charge into them. Until they actually jump, they haven't accepted.

Guess we wont be sparring much then And to be clear im not making judgement on everyone that debuffs or etc before a spar, just saying what i think and what to expect if you want the chance to kick my furry &&&

Ok we can start !! gogogo.
This is ridiculous, when a rk put a lignting mark, it means he just made 1k dmg to you. It's like a BA doing vital target, and then jumping.

So don't offer to spar RKs. If they jump at you and put debuffs on you, don't fight them. If they jump at you and you jump back but they debuff you before you start combat, keep fighting. But don't expect them not to debuff before jumping in return when you're the one offering them out.

ideal would as doro told us
do all kind of buffs/debuffs when bouth are accepting spar. you see freeps can apply debuffs without trigering combat state, it is designed for pve. thats the difference between balrog and random creep. 1 is bot other one is real player with brain. have you seen spider are applying all the freaking debuffs they have (non-damaging) before fight?
if i see revealing weakness or any other mark on me im alrdy in combat.
how about keepin 1v1 as it was... there will be changes with RoR . and with those the 1v1 we know will be gone,,, so keep 1v1 as it was before SoA and MoM and have some respect of the area as it use to be

I didn't even think you did 1v1s. Most times I see you there, you're just playing carebear with emotes and that irritating, jingling steed... or RPing, as some call it.
so keep 1v1 as it was before SoA and MoM and have some respect of the area as it use to be
Respect? The 1v1 'area' was never "respected" in fact, I remember you yourself rolling it with your god awful "events."
On top of that, the SoA "1v1" was simply a few of us (namely Ander, Shaz, Mat, myself & co.) who knew each other occasionally meeting behind Lug near the old CP; there was no "zone" for it and back then we accepted that it was an open combat area where the chances of being ganked were high.
The good TA 'zone' didn't come into existence till Moria, and was incessantly ganked on a near daily basis by Devil, Vinci and others (Lets not forget the raids Vicey and DTY used to zerg it with), not to mention the constant grief on the old Codemaster forums that it caused.
So for 1v1 it is in the area between gta and the auroch (the open field)
What rules i follow:
1 - its 1v1 so only fighting 1 player not join the fight of others
2 - fight begins when both player selected each other and jumped
3 - fight ends if 1 player die
(4 - if i am under 1k, so my win comes from luck with crit chance, i kill mysekf with aurochs - not with other players)
5 - if someone jumps on my duel partner i stop attacking him and let him to try stay alive and kill the ganker
6 - if someone is surely ganking i will try to kill him/them
ganking:
-more ppl attack 1 player
-helping the ganker to survive the counterattack (aka joining the fight or healing him up)
-if fight not accepted by both players with jump (also if u continue fight begun with this way i not count that as ganking)
So if creep/freeps defend the ganker i am ready to make zergfest from 1v1 - if needed to teach someane to order / destroy 1v1

Your signature says "Long since quit Lotro", so why do you keep posting on our forums? If you're never online, you can't really speak on behalf on our current PvP, and when you do, i am rather sure that i am not the only player thinking that your opinion isn't legit.

If you fail to notice, he's correcting some misconceptions on how the "1on1 area" originated. And as far as his post goes, it's actually pretty damn accurate and to the point. So your opinion about his post is not legit at all.
