&&& is wrong with the Herbalist!?!?!

So im sitting at less that 100 health, and i CC the skirmish encounter mob, and my herbalist just sits there and doesnt heal me!?!?!?!?!? is this working as intended!?!? she was full on power and nothing, this happens all the time. I feel as long as the herbalist has power, and im not full on health she needs to be healing me...

Skirmish soldiers have some of the WORST AI possible. I think x-men on gamecube has 100x better AI than anything in game currently. On there you could set various characters to do different things based on the % morale of an ally. I could have the ally heal me/others when i'm at 80% morale or I could have it not heal me until i'm at 20% morale. Your herbalist was probably too busy healing itself at full morale even though you were almost dead. They could do the smallest changes to make certain skirmish soldiers 100x better but they don't care.

This is working as intended, I believe.

To the best of my knowledge (which admittedly is a little dated considering I've changed mains, and said character uses a sage not a herbalist) but should you CC a mob it triggers something in the AI which tells the soldier to stop their actions. On my LM if I stun something, my sage will run back to stand beside me. It does this so it doesn't break your CC. The herbalist is programmed the same, even if it does no damage. In situations like that (when I use my hunter's cc) I keep my mouse hovered over the attack button, which will "attack" the mob and tell the herbalist it's good to start healing again.

    1. Herbalists heal you by 'attacking' a mob, not directly to you. Look at its target some time - it's a mob, not you.

    2. Herbalists, like all soldiers, are programmed not to attack CC'd mobs. So a Herbalist won't do anything if there is only one mob and it's CC'd. You have to direct it to attack the mob.

    3. Herbalists are not reactive healers, using skills dependent on your morale or the situation. They simply pump out the heals-over-time.
