Thanks again Swifty for the invite! Eitred is now a productive member of hobbit society. Now I just need to get Gundo reformed - sneaky burglar/tinker that he is.
As for my wife, I just need to team with her in City of Heroes for a few hours a night and she is happy. City of Heroes was our first MMO. We started playing shortly after it launched and we still play after nearly 3 years.
Sadly she didn't want to play LotR. She isn't anywhere near the Tolken geek that I am and she gets to play in my D&D campaign every Saturday.
So I guess that I have it better than some as my wife is a geek and understands. Oh well, I do what I can. Perhaps someday she shall join me in game.
Woot! I have a long weekend ahead! See you all later!
Oh Eitred, happy to have you! And CoH...mmm I absolutely loved that game in its day...had one bada$$ radiation/gravity controller...best character creation in any game, period. Talk about unique. But sadly, I felt as if I finished the game, and hadda move on!
As we approach our hobbit limit of 75, your time grows short! (pun intended) Hearty Hobbits, join us! If you are lookin for a helpful, extremely friendly kinship to quest, craft and instance with, let us know!
Look for us in bree tonite around 9 EST...we are gonna have a little party at the pony!
Sorry I missed it. Had a BBQ to go to last night. Probably won't be on for a couple weeks, heading back out of town today. Take care my furry footed little friends, I shall see you all soon.
We had a blast partying away in Bree last night, sorry bout the Hobbit Lag, small price to pay for such a sight!
Thanks for the drinks Swifty! I enjoyed it immensely! It was a great party and I don't remember much after the last Whithywindle I drank. Can someone tell me why I woke up in Strider's room?

I saw Swifty yesterday in Bree. I felt like I had just passed a celebrity in L.A. =O I have yet to find Hammo but I'll see him soon enough. =P
Finding Hammo....hmm I like the sound the sound of that for a contest....

You know that Strider...always had a fondness for little folk....
Left you an IM ... my hairy-footed, pot-bellied, ever-peckish, nimble-fingered hobbit is eager to serve ... assuming the standard 10 meals a day and generous ale per diem is included ...
First, let me say I am thrilled to find news of your kinship. I joined a different kinship right when I started (a couple of guys I play fantasy football with were in it) but they are a complete drag. They power level up as fast as they can and never come back to help the newer or lower level kinship members. Not much fun.
Me? Level 19 minstrel. Absolutely love that class as the biggest kick for me in the game is helping others out on quests. Last night I went back to the Shire and helped a fellow hobbit out for 2 hours as he ran through a bunch of quests...and I had an absolute blast doing it.
I would be most humbled to be accepted into your ranks.
I've been playing on Gladden server, but can obviously move over to Arkenstone should you find me worthy.
Oh, yes, I almost forgot.....me hobbit name be Merinurk!
You sound like just the kind of hobbit we like! Be sure to put me in friend list and whisper me in game. It won't be long before we share some pipeweed on the steps of the Prancing Pony, which we took full ownership of last week.
Question that hopefully someone knows the answer to...can I "move" my current character from the Gladden server over to the Arkenstone server? I just went online and clicked on the Arkenstone server. At that point, it basically takes me to the character creation pannel. Is there a way to get my current character over to your server? It would suck big time to have to start all over from scratch..
Aye! The talls were aghast at the site weren't they? My hubby saw "the hobbit train" heading up to the Pony and made me run from the other room so I could see it.
That was a sight like not other I've seen in Middle-Earth! Congrats on bringing joy to an otherwise dreary server..
There was much fun to be had at our Sunday night 'party at the pony'! We concluded our smoking and drinking with a march around Bree to find our wayward hobbit, Hammo!
Hammo was found in 9 minutes, hiding in the cat room in Bree! A 200 silver prize was awarded to the tall that found him. It breaks my heart it was not a hobbit! Thanks to all who participated, and to the tons of folks who /cheered us through the streets of Bree!
Look for more Swifty and Hammo spontaneous events! We will make this server the most fun in the LOTRO world. It's a hobbits duty.
Hey, I'd heard there might be a non-hobbit guild forming for our alts, something called "Not Swifty and Hammo". Anything to these rumors? I've got a Lore Man who's lookin' to get hitched.
Swifty and Hammo will be making our final push for recruitment this weekend, so make sure you get in contact with us. We have around 6 spots left until we close invites for a time. Need to sort out all these hobbits and see where we stand.
