Thread: Cheap Mark Legendaries

I was browsing the skirmish camp and I was almost done, until I came to the legendary item vendor. I talked to him and he showed me his things.

I scrolled down to the bottom of the first page, and it had Khadzul Tablets for a price of 15 marks and 9 medallions or 75 marks and 3 medallions.

I hovered over it and it told me that I could exchange this item for a legendary item by the Prancing Pony, so I went there, and sure enough I exchanged it for a legendary item, Champions Mace of the Third Age.

I just noticed how cheap the exchange items were.

Those seem pretty cheap. But note that LIs fall like candy, and even level 75 LIs are generally in the ~80-200 silver range on the Auction House. So the 75 marks and 3 medallions is actually pretty expensive. If you use your marks to get a greater scroll of empowerment, sell that for 15-20 gold, you can buy dozens and dozens of LIs on AH with the proceeds. Also note that the Khudzul tablets/miners tools fall all over moria at a good rate, and the mid-level LIs do as well. And they are also dirt cheap on the AH.

The problem with them is that they´re not worth much anymore in practise, unless you´re right at that level step.

Levelling and deconstructing lvl 57 or 59 LIs will not yield you an optimal relic return, they wont give you elgacies usable on higher level items, and not even useable crafting fragments or scrolls of renewal.
