Thread: what else to improve on

i am trying to improve stats PVE wise. any suggestions? this is where i am atm:



have 7830 morale and 3k power with might banner on.

I would suggest get some Vitality.For raids i would suggest to build some vit and morale a bit
Spamming IHW with a big morale pool and mitigations doesnt always require LS
If its for solo purpose and for exploring i do almost the same build like you with crit(almost)

with Idome and eqquiped(not casted) war banner
2123 might
9603 morale
3275 power
and 8506 crit

So what you have there for explore and lvl to 85 will b fine i think

Btw what the hell is going on? i havent log with cappy for sometime now and on Leaderboards shows i got no gear?

I can't tell if your morale there is buffed or unbuffed. I'm assuming buffed? If that's your buffed morale, it's perfectly fine. If it's your unbuffed morale, I might even say it's a bit excessive. You'll probably want to trade out some direct morale for Vitality to increase your tactical mitigation. The current endgame raids feature a lot of tactical damage, and reducing what you take is actually more valuable than just having a big morale pool. Only tanks really need more than 8k morale right now.

he has idome on, and (i assume) war banner placed. Regardless, if he needs more morale he can easily go to hope banner.

I'm going to guess that you are a LtC Captain who focuses on offensive support based on your physical mastery stat. So I can't really comment with any real insight - as I've never seriously played the Lead the Charge traitline.

But generally, the only thing I'd say that looks like it might could use some attention is your Vitality. That looks pretty low for a Captain, and you might have a hard time staying alive on some fights.

looks like a real nice build, only thing i cant see is your mitigation?
maybe vit > moral, i go around 8-9k buffed
all my virtues are usualy mitigations, not sure how that will be for ettens tho

I'd get your Exemplar and Victor Earrings. With the set bonuses, you'd increase your net stats by two stat doses--almost the equivalent of putting on two orange earrings. If that skews the balance of stats that you have in a way you don't like... well its in your favor to swap something else out to make it work. Those set bonus stats are worth it. My gearing RoT, assuming we're talking all relevant stats (i.e. no will): Oranges and teal set bonuses > teals > purples. And if following that RoT doesn't give your build a nice balance, rearrange your other gear.

Now that's just general gear advice. Looking specifically at your build, I personally wouldn't want to run with that kind of tact mit (if you got old tact mit relics, I take it back), but thats a personal choice since you're a heavy armor captain and ahead of the tact mit game anyway.

Sorry for going off on a tangent, but I've been away from active LOTRO playing for months now. How do you get that spiffy new character icon? I've seen several people running around the 21st Hall with their character portrait adorned (some with what look like gold leaves?), as opposed to just having the regular blue circle.

Aztec, that's based off how many years you've played the game. Just right click (think it's right click anyways) your character portrait and you should the option there.

Basically for every year you've played the game you get an extra leaf it looks like.

so i read your posts, and i came up with



this almost 10k crit, added a bit vit, i do ToO but i rarely die from being attacked by mobs or something, the only thing i die a lot from is jumping from acid boss nyahaha. :P tho i lost a bit of phy mastery i think. i am running with red flag, all dps flags, this set is for dps and solo healing only. i change more vit dependong on which wing to do.
