That's the catch...there is no lotto. Where are the lottos? Didn't ALL the other classes have a lotto for their horse?

This is exactly how I am feeling.

All the other class steeds so far, except for maybe the champion, have had designs and colour schemes that really reflected the respective class.

What do we get? In the one instance where a full design of black and grey would have been preferable, we get green and brown with a dash of red ropes and yellow bags. Nothing about the design says "burglar". Way too generic.

Anyone got screenies from ingame as opposed to the promo pic?

I have mixed feelings about this steed (waiting for seing it "live", though, as my kin-leader won't wait for the lotteries...):
On the one hand, I like the knife seathed, the small satchels on the side and the packs of ropes (even if th colour of the one on the back is a bit odd).
On the other one, I'm puzzled by the colour of the blanket. In my imagination, it should be black (or grey), but not green with brown patches. Even if the roleplay explanation is valid

It will depend wether I'll be able to get a nice outfit to fit with it.
Otherwise my 2k TP will wait for the steed of the warden, which I hope will be less controversial than this one...

Edit: BTW, when will they understand that the burg's Ost Dunhoth jacket is just silly for people that have to have their arms covered?

It has a mask. And as everyone knows, mask = ninja = stealth = burglars!

While I would have preferred something more in the grey/black color scheme, it's not too bad... it's just that the those red eyes that makes it somewhat undesirable right now for me. Meh.

For me it looks really seductive for my Burglar.
And I'll probably give Turbine money again, I hope to see it ingame, bevore time runs out.

This game has so many horses, there will surely be one for you, that you really like.

Im not syaing i dont like lotro horses, i love most of them, but the burglar horse ahud be suitable for the lore burg, and thos one...well looks rather silly (apart from the mask and cool eyes

well, it's better than the champ one... but only slightly. Way to much colors for a horse that's supposed to be used by a burglar. Seems like Turbine has run out of ideas how to make class horses, hopefully they get some new people soon

Yeah but these promo pics, even when they are screen shots, only seem to give one view and in this case not even the complete animal. They always look like they're "tweaked" a little as well. Reasonable quality ingame screenies from members of the community seem to give more of an ingame true feel. As well with more images you can get a better gauge than just by looking at one.

I actually really like the look of the Burglar horse -- better than any of the other class mounts so far besides Hunter.

I think the Steed of the Lossoth that you got from the envelope quest looked more like a suitable burglar horse than the actual steed of the burglar, but that might just be personal style (Steed of the lossoth has simple brown saddle, black coat with grey mane for those who haven't seen it)

I think it looks great, but... it doesnt fit a burg. Looks more like a hunter horse

Edit: You might be able to make a case for a gambler burg, not QK though

Out of curiosity, anyone seen a lottery for the steed yet?

I remember all other classes had lotteries you could win the steed in but saw none for burglars.

I do hope I just didn't see the lottery or it's slightly delayed. I'd hate it if turbine stopped doing lotteries for class mounts entirely.

steed of the guardian (without the checkered flag at the bacck)
prized isengard war horse
smokey black horse
prized angmars free peoples horse
all these suit the burg more than the actuall steed of the burg :P

I agree. I would have expected it to be darker colored. Even the "Steed of the duskwatch" from the mail quest is better...

First off, eh. Decent-looking horse, but not what I'd want for a Steed of the Burglar. Secondly, can I get a dev word on whether or not there will be lotteries for this horse, and if not, why? And lastly, what's with all the hate for the champ horse? IMO, it's the best one, and it will look completely BA as a warsteed.

I'm wondering this too. My plan was to enter the lotteries to try and win one and if no success I'd probably buy the thing for my main as per sig (and only because it IS my main). There's nothing else going off in game to hog the lotteries so why not give us a chance of the steed same as they did with the other class mounts?

I won the steed in the lottery tonight, after seeing it in game I am very impresed by it. Awesome steed!

i would love this horse as i always have my Rift gear on as cosmetics and it goes so well with that, but i am not gonna spend TP on it. Maybe if it goes on sale, but only then
