    That kind of looks like the Evendim Colossus and its holding a sword as far as I can see. Argonath are supposed to hold axes.

    Edit: Maybe I'm being too cynical, I hope we get a great Argonath.

    It's the same thing (the sword is broken), on the other hand it could just be a placeholder which is why they haven't even flown by. I would expect the Gondorian style statues like the ones at Harndirion, not the Arnorian ones.

    Very cool design overall. Love the helms!

    But, with the pinky out, the hands dont have that "guesture of defiance" look that is described.

    I love the amount of detail in this concept art. From the helms to the beards to the folds in their clothing to the white tree, the statues have a lovely amount of detail in this drawing, and they look very realistic; I hope statues have this same level of detail in-game. As cool as the colossus of Evendim is, it's always looked very blocky; it reminds me more of a giant Lego man than what I've always imagined the Argonath looking like. I've always worried the Argonath might be made to look the same. If the Argonath look like this, though, I'll be happy.

    I love the scale, too, if the trees are any indication. I know things need to be scaled down for LOTRO, but the Argonath need to be BIG and IMPRESSIVE and IMPOSING... so hopefully they're on a similar scale to what we're seeing in this concept art.

    Haha, true! But this piece of concept art is very nice though (as was the concept art for The High King's Crossing, by the way). Let's just wait and see what the future will hold.

    I think I like this version better. It's like "We don't want you here. Not that we're afraid of you, just save us the trouble of defeating you in battle. See these axes?, they're not just for show". Rather than ''Stop!".

    Although I did see a similarity with "These are not the droids you're looking for" .
