Yeah, the pvp has been terrible :/. I used multiple hours yesterday to chase down wargs that just hipsed and sprinted because that was all I could find. We had the numbers to have a good fight later on but the freep raid was busy with pve in the moors...

Players who come out or pull people into a raid that is oriented on pve is one problem. Another problem is the amount of creeps out that used to be on other classes, but now instead, are on wargs. You simply won't get good fights out of either of those groups of players. Also as mentioned above, it is summer time. Many people are vacationing or participating in summer activities. The game always has its lull. I'm sure it'll pick back up.

well there was decent action late yesterday, but most of the freeps disappeared and left the rest outnumbered to hug EC, so I logged at that point.

Not coming back till wargs get nerfed, not because I think they're OP, but because they're too easy and too many.
heyhey, no nerfing creep classes, anything but nerfs and when you think of it, burgs are no better. lately there has been 3 online at all time and they cause bigger destruction then the wargs. Burg > Warg
If you take away the warg's dps, what do wargs have then? RKs, hunters, burgs have no right to whine bout wargs, so yeah, until the creep classes are balanced out there is no way Im gonna let a creep nerf happen without anything done to the freep classes!
the two classes that struggle the most against wargs must be the Loremaster and Captain. as a captain myself its really annoying seeing one warg turn into 4.
once again: NO MORE CREEP NERFS. They allready nerfed the BA skill Revenge >.<
I'd like to add that when RKs can crit you for 2k, 3k, then 4k and right after that 2k etc.. that is with 7 Aud, without.. they are OP/GODMODE/EZMODE. My poor Defiler dont stand a chance against any RKs.

From a wargs point of view why do people think they are OP, yet I never hear anything about defilers. In a 1v1 what decent ranked defiler loses a lot? They can heal forever and hurt in between

Captains and loremasters have a difficult time against a warg?
Flayer wargs can poop on great LMs. And a cappy v. warg battle could very easily become a kite to boredom fight...

Except for the fact that a hunter's burst dps can wreck a defiler before they get enough heals off, or a smart captain can match them (using power banner, or power herald + song brother = never ever running out of power). Also, a minstrel can probably fare pretty well.

This. Wargs aren't OP at all solo, but they are just ridiculously annoying when five of them get the bright idea to group up. I know creeps will counter that burgs do this too, but burgs do not account for 40% of the freep population (that honor appears to go to minstrels lol), and I haven't seen a burg pack out for a long time.
I don't think that wargs need a nerf at all, but I also don't think that 5+ unskilled wargs should be able to just pick a target and kill it in less than a second with the target having no defense at all - that's not pvp, that's just stupid.

Not directing this comment @you specifically mmdur1 just convenient quote to grab....... But the warg pop almost falls in the category "be careful what you wish for". Set game balance such that freeps>creeps, low ranked creeps being terrible, have several classes be very strong (OP or near OP) freepside, introduce a comm system that only rewards DPS, with creepside CC/heal classes having laughable DPS, and people are surprised there a lot of wargs? really?
In any event, August 28th onward....moors pop will likely change pretty dramatically - at least for a while.

This is pretty much it, though it looks like there are some newer people out and maybe they don't know the map that well yet, it also seems foreign to many to wait for others to go down and head down in small groups, even ungrouped, again not something I see many of the newer people are doing.

Ugh. It's harder when the smart wargs come out at late night, when I usually PvP and all the 6 yr old kids' freavers and wargs have gone to bed in grams. Good gankers never ever stay in one spot, and oh, I should know

I guess that's what makes the moors fun. Unpredictable behavior. Which is rare, even in PvP land. With your tracking skills you still get ambushed? What I wouldn't give for hunter tracks.
