By the title I do not mean that there is a bug in a quest. Getting 12 people together for a raid takes time usually, on some servers maybe more than other. After a fair time trying to scrounge the 12 people together raid set. That works for raids a person can repeat. My question is why are the prerequisite quests to Draigoch's Lair also requiring 12 people? There are some players who all came up together when the game first came out and many of them got to 75 about the same time. For other players coming in getting 12 people together for a one time quest does not really work very well. Can that be reconsidered? It is not always easy getting 12 people together for a raid for which everyone already qualifies. Trying to get 12 people for a one time quest is not practical. In the best of conditions, it would take such and inordinately long time to get the 12 together as to be a huge time waster. Barring the best happening, it would remain undone and people who didn't get to 75 when the update was released end up locked out of something others have even if paying money now and even paying more with lifetime VIP not being an option (the monthly or even yearly can add up). Can the quests that are one shot be kept to small fellowship rather than having any non-repeatable ones be beyond a headache to organize but actually impossible at certain times of day.
There is such a huge market on MMO's these days I hope that LOTRO will keep in mind the persons time factor and viability of some quests that the good parts of the game will not be overshadowed by factors which are largely not workable. The game needs more players for raids and certainly multiperson quests to be done without too much waste of time and I hope that not too many leave because of this so that it ends up some cycle of insufficient players to go beyond a certain point (unless one of those who started when the game came out or was around during certain updates and they all progressed at same time).
Hoping something can be worked on this
Thank you

The only reason the Draigoch pre-quest line is a Raid,
is to warn you that what you are doing is eventually
going to lead to a raid, it's only useful to "raid up"
for it if you bring along some cappies/hunters to ease
the travelling a bit. Otherwise, just solo, no need to group.
Thank you, that will help. Going and finding stuff if not having to gather people is easy, even if dodging pretty heavy stuff.
As for my other comment, it is hard on some servers to get people together. LOTRO has a good community and some good features (actually getting to use the stuff players craft is awesome) but with the competition I wonder if getting the word out in the ultra competitive MMO market might help some. While overpopulation can cause problems some servers have a population which makes getting together raids very time consuming (if it can sometimes take an hour or more to get raid organized that is an hour gone). Some areas you can go through and see nobody. Thanks again on the word about the solo part as that will be easy to do. For the game itself can WB do much to help get just a couple more people in without the overboard advertising one MMO does yet enough to help?
take care
