Question about Reputation Mounts
Hey there. Maybe this has been asked before, but I can't find it anywhere...my question is this: why is it that when we go through all the trouble of getting kindred rep with a faction, plus we pay 5g, only to be rewarded with a 62 speed mount? :\ You'd think we would deserve at least 68 speed, maybe even 250 health for everything we did.
I heard that rep mounts used to be 68...does anyone know the reason why it changed? I'd love an answer. Thanks.Tuorr - Elf Lore-master | Cauliflowre - Hobbit Minstrel

meta-deed horses/goats are 68%, regular are 62% as it should be. Meta deed takes more work so gives a better reward.

They were never 68 speed. They all have 250hp, which is pretty handy. For the most part the main reason to get them is for the cosmetic appearance.

They are aso crit-immune, meaning a crit will not automatically dismount you regardless of the mounts current morale, which afaik can happen with lesser mounts.
Tiger got to hunt,/ Bird got to fly;
Man got to sit and wonder, 'Why, why, why?'
Tiger got to sleep, / Bird got to land,
Man got to tell himself he understand.

Reputation mounts are too easy to get... The idea is that they reward you with a different option then the standard horses that you can get early on. The Bree rep mount is extremely easy to obtain these days so you can quickly get a 250 morale mount. I didn't think ALL rep mounts had the anti-knockoff on them though...
Basically though, you're goal (currently) is the elf-rep-meta-deed for the Elf Ambassador horse. By far the easiest of the metas to knock off, but you will be at least 65 before you can get it...
The idea behind only the meta horses being 168% speed is that they are the hardest mounts to get, I just wish there was some sort of progression for them... 168 for elf, 169 for SoA, 170 for Eriador, 171 for Moria mounts, 172 for Mirkwood meta, etc... No incentive to upgrade besides the cosmetic...
