    All this business about squirrels reminds me of one of the strangest pieces of Tolkien art I have ever seen, a painting by Maria Lombide Ezpeleta depicting Éowyn and Faramir in the Houses of Healing in Minas Tirith accompanied by, for some inexplicable reason, squirrels.

    Not surprisingly, the strangest piece of Tolkien art I have ever seen is one by the same artist depicting Fëanor and his seven sons, apparently as a glam rock band named 'SWORDZ'.
