Will LOTRO ever change the character creation?

Just wondering if there are any plans to change the character creation.

The system and models seem a bit outdated and limited.

It would be nice to have more skins, hairstyles, tatoos, sliders to adjust the noses, forehead ratios, height, weight, textures, etc (without clipping of course).

    Thanks!

If this was a major part of the game content, I would agree to that.

But no plans, I was aware of.

    Yeah .

I know it's only fluff but it's one of the things I'd like too see improved the most .

Sometimes I compare my character to some npcs faces , and most of the time npcs are prettier ...

I'll just copy my post from a similar thread, 'cos I'm a lazy butt and that's how I roll.

So while it's something they're looking into, it is indeed a massive change to make, especially considering the consequences of people not liking the changes, or even preferring the old ones(you can see this in the various animation tweaks they've made).
As an addendum, I do agree more complexity to the character creation(and customisation) mechanic would be great. Fact of the matter is there are very few options to most races that look half-way decent, which makes making your character to your liking rather difficult.

Not until they come up with a way to profit by using the store and TP.

I'll bet ppl would start new characters if the appearances were updated.

Hopefully our characters will be able to edit our appearance once added to the game, would be unfair if they only let new players have this feature.

    I was just thinking this.
With the huge amount of players that would love to see this change, there could be a drastic uproar if characters already created couldn't be updated.

I'm always in favor of more customization.

And to the poster who thinks they need to monetize it before it will happen, not necessarily. ANYTHING that brings people back to the game will increase business. I know a bunch of players who'd at least stop by to check it out, and some would def stick around and maybe even buy some cosmetics or level a shiny new alt.

You need to bring people in to buy before you can sell ANYTHING.

A few extra customization options would always be nice.

But Turbine should focus on the end game, they have spent a lil too much on the newbie areas of the game. They safice for now, as leveling is easier than ever now.
