    connection problem

    i log on fine but after two minutes of play time my player wont walk forward or back and then a minute passes and it says failed to connect please help me i really want to play again ive taken lotro off my computer three times and installed it but same problem happens

    It isnt your client, so reinstalling wont help. What you are seeing is what happens when there is some problem with the client at your end and the server at Turbines end trying to talk to one another. All you can do about it at your client end is make sure that little else besides the turbine client is running on your pc. eg. hoy off messenger, or anything else that might be up to no good in background. You can also try connecting at different times, in case your ISP is traffic-limiting at certain times( business hours?). beyond that, there is little else to do. The connection is at the mercy of god knows how many isps, routers, firewalls etc. on the round trip between you and turbine. Traceroute can occasionaly show you the path taken and speeds involved, but more often these days gets bit-bucketed by an intervening firewall, thanks to a history of abuse of all the simple internet tools like ping.
