Thread: Ettenmoors in the LOTRO store

I was reading a thread earlier about how PvMP should be free. I totally disagree with his thread and was inspired to write this thread. They should have a whole ettenmoors section in the LOTRO store. Where you can buy the basics like creep classes and traits and perhaps add some exclusive freep horses and housing items. Then add an ettenmoors expansion. It should be listed around 4995-5995 tp. If you guys don't think its a good idea I have another . You can buy ettenmoors time by the day, week, month, and year. When the time expires you get booted from ettenmoors instantly. The prices for these passes should be:
1 day: 100tp

7 days: 500tp

30 days: 1500tp

365 days: 4500tp

Obviously this will cause some bugs in the moors about people getting booted from it even tho they payed for it but I think turbine can handle de-bugging it.

Now, this is a way better idea than what I had. It would be much better because one wouldn't have to be VIP, but they would still have to pay TP, that way Turbine still gains revenue. So, yes, I totally do agree with this idea and I would also like to see your other idea.

Get VIP or get out. This suggestion makes no sense. Do the math. VIP = 1500 TP for 3 months free and costs similar to PVP alone that you listed. It would be cheaper to buy VIP but almost 200% then to what you are suggesting not to mention that youd probably need more TP for other things. I'd think you were a Turbine associate in disguise. Sorry for the rouge words, but do the math next time first.

But that was my 2nd idea if nobody liked the first one and I wrote this in 5 mins or less so I didn't exactly do the math...I was in a rush to get done.

No, instead they'll fix typo's and rename NPC's that nobody interacts with. Also, the WL bug is still with us, what makes you think they can fix that bug?

My personal opinion is and always will be you get what you pay for.... Yet in the grand scheme of things you can either grind tp the hard way level , do deeds etc... or you can buy it either way , its not free. I think as said you save more money in the long run and stress of not being vip. While f2p offers a nice place for people who are tight in finances and cant afford lotro vs lets say electricity, it is nice they're not knocked out of the game completely. I will always be vip until i decide to stop playing. I do think how ever, the store is over used in pvmp and turbine should look at the amount of points spent on brands, trackers etc and put a slush fund for a new map. People give pleanty of money to help that concept along.

They could but it's not on the roadmap.

I was facepalming when I realised you didn't realise they are almost strictly PvE players.

My suggestion is that you should make a turbine that everyone can participate in pvmp fighting and go to ettenmoors.A if they had to pay to put it. 1 day:55tp,7day:150tp,30day300tp ,365day:500tp.Molim your think about this a lot of them would be happy if this was accepted.

Seems a bit to cheap if you ask me, would be pointless picking anything under the 500tp option lol, maybe 1500tp :P?

If Turbine ever decided to sell pvmp for tp (which I doubt) I think the most likely model would be similar to the current creep one. Sub and get unlimited access or purchase access for each individual character with tp. Just like buying creep classes to play as.
