Re: Well, I had fun.
seemed like there was more pve then pvp going on all the keeps flipped like 5 times each + relic. when the creeps flipped a keep the freeps would go and flip it back within a few min lol, but other then all the pve i guess it was good

Re: Well, I had fun.
yes granted there was plenty of pve going on...i had did have fun i was in a group of only about 8 tops and we all knew no way we were going to meet a full raid or near full raid of freeps (def was 20+) i had fun only cause we had to be on the run no way we would win a faceoff also when we got relic there was whole raid at dg steps so we decided we can either try to turn in relic (and prob fail) or ninja lugz or tr for the rez either way will win..and sorry burg we didnt get much pvp in but i did have fun dealing with intelligent opponents and a stronger force who seemed they just wanted the whole map blue only reason i kept trying to keep something red! though all before that there was some major pvping going on fun night and morning overall for me and thanks to all!

Re: Well, I had fun.
Yeap there was a lot of fun to have and I had my share of it. Too bad creep raid got disbanded after TR fight, their leader must have had his/her reasons, oh well! If they would have stayed formed after freep raid got together we might have had more fights. After that all creeps dissapeared aside from Burg/Mufb group and the relic struggle. Mufbash's valiant attempt to enter DG, and Webferth's race to Ost, who btw barely made it.

You don’t like it? Go somewhere else! To another universe, where the rules are simpler.-Feynman.

Re: Well, I had fun.
I Had some fun early in the evening, and spent more time in the moors then in some of the past days. Close to midnight, the freeps again surged in members, and we still managed to push them out of TR. After that. some of us had to call it a night, so I do not know what happened then.
A bit less PVE and more PVP in the moors is always a good thing. If only Turbine would level the keeps and remove most NPC's.Pouncival-Rank 13-Leader of the Pouncing Pwny

Re: Well, I had fun.
This is how it happens for me:
Me in Teamspeak: Man, today sucked. I'm gonna head out to the Moors. (freepside)
Bunch of people in Teamspeak: Ok man.
Ten zerg ### explosions of me later...
Me in Teamspeak: This is garbage, I can't find anyone out here that wants to have a fair fight. I'm this close to opening a raid and rolling these jerks.
One (hilarious) person in Teamspeak: DO IT!!!!!!
Me in Teamspeak: Okay, logging over to my mini.
I spend 10-15 minutes getting a group together. Kin doesn't want to go so I open it up. Then this happens.
Me in Raid: Stay on me and Tree, we're heading over to TR to take a rez.
Everyone else in raid: *crickets, but following*
Tree in Raid: LET'S GO KILLS THESE FOOLS BWAHAHAHAHAHIASBNFLVYSHBFJKCVY SEDGF
Me: lol.
We arrive at TR. And then this.
Me: Pull the hallway and the front door, not the lobby.
...
Me: Okay, kill the lobby I guess lol.
Raid Freep X: CREEP SPOTTED
Me: Kill them.
Raid Freep Y: We've got more here
Me: Push out on them then finish these NPC's.
... A couple minutes later...
Me: We're pushing up, let's get them. Third floor hallway, go.
(Massive amount of text removed because nobody wants to read a play-by-play of the whole keep fight)
Me noticing that there are a ton of (admittedly likely small grouped or solo creeps, but all in the same keep defending) creeps and respawns are happening downstairs and, soon, upstairs, and that we still have some NPC's on us from God knows where
Me: Push down and out the front door, kill any creep in your way and keep moving, get out, get out, get out. Run off NPC's.
Everyone in raid: *crickets but runs out*
Me after leaving keep: Run around that rock there and get ready for a fight
Everyone in raid: *gets ready*
Junio: Oh god I manhealed
Tree: Shut up fool
Me: Okay, when they come around the rock, push and kill Tree's target.
Me some time later: Alright, meet up on the leaf we're gonna go meet them at the rez. Get buffs off and get mounted up.
Me thinking to myself: I want to kill every single one of them again and again and again.
Me to Raid: Alright let's go.
Raid Freep Z: Creeps
... some time later...
Me: Alright, meet up on GV steps if you're dead. Get away if you can.
Raid Freep Minstrel: HAH! I'm the only one that got away.
We meet up at GV, get buffs off, and push off towards TR again.
We get to TR, and this happens.
Me: Push in and pull the hallway, NOT THE LOBBY.
Some time later, after having killed everything through the third floor hallway, I notice that there are about half the number of creeps and Plok is in the flag room pew-pewing people that push out of the hallway. Which I applaud him for.
We roll the keep, and then roll everything else. There was a great tactical stand-off with Mufbash' group later in the night, and that guy and his group just kept slapping red over my blue paint. But there were no actual fights going on, no.
Listen, even if that's what you see out there, (referring to the play-by-play post above mine) the freeps zerging after creeps leave, that's not necessarily how it happens. Sometimes people have to go, sometimes a raid finishes and people wanna go out to the Moors and have some fun. And just about every time I bring a Strength and Honor group out or attend a Strength and Honor group (I mean 6-9 people, not a raid or even half a raid. Normally about 6 all kin.) we get crushed once, then we crush the creeps and everything disappears and there's only solos left. So all there is to do is flip keeps and kill whatever creeps we find. And I know it's the same for creep groups.
Listen, I'm all about soloing - I prefer to. That's the same on all my characters (except my minstrel, who is so ridiculously overpowered that I only heal with her in the Moors. But that's a different topic). Now, if you're in a group, the one sure-fire way of letting the other side know where you are is ganking solos. They'll call out, people respond, and a fight happens. If I gank a solo and I'm not on the way to a keep when it happens, I stay there and wait. Half the time I stay there and wait anyways, or attack something nearby to get some more heat. The point I'm trying to make is this: This is a PvP zone. PvP happens. That's why it's fun. Whether you like to solo or group or raid, whether you like an open PvP environment or try to avoid one by letting even-numbered fights stay that way, the fun part of the Moors is that it's not completely predictable. So if you get rolled, fight back. Don't whine about it for hours and make some huge deal about it. Fight back. Fight. Back.
If your idea of fighting back is to get on a Warg and hunt down the squishies with a carefully (or not so carefully) selected pack, then do it. If your idea of fighting back is harrying the people coming back from rezzes or forming a small group to accomplish objectives while the main enemy raid is elsewhere, then do it. And if your idea of fighting back is getting as many random strangers together as possible and completely facerolling all opposition, then do it. If your idea of fighting back is flaming the opposition, defacing their character and coercing people into ganking them at every slim opportunity, then DO IT. But don't you dare sit there and tell me and mine that we leave or avoid coming because we're afraid of getting killed. Because you are absolutely wrong.
And I'll prove it every chance I get.
tl;dr: Obtain perspective. More than one.

Having played both sides actively for a few years now I am still astonished daily at how much qq/whining I see mirrored in both OOCs. The exact same complaints, quarrels and grievances are shared by creeps and freeps alike and it's starting to amuse me more than anything. Soloers on BOTH sides are going to get zerged. Everyday. Small groups on Both sides are going to get zerged by bigger groups.
I'm seriously starting to think that some of you only play this game to qq on the forums and lament your cruel fortunes in the OOC. Play the game, and S t f u or G t f o.

Postscript-
Anyone who says that Plok never solos is full of nonsense. I see dude out on his own, away from keeps considerably more than I see most of the people who qq about him being a raid baby. Not saying he always is by himself ;p Just saying that it does happen

One Last thing...
Had a great time last night with 90 mins of raid v raid fighting.
Thanks to all the raid leaders on both sides for still making stuff like this happen. Enjoy it while you can peeps before we're all Engineers and Thiefs, Rangers and Necros, Charr and Norn. Focus on the good memories from the Moors and not the negative ones.
Love you all.

Thanks beard, I know when and how I play. That's all that really matters. In fact it's a bonus for people to think that of me. yesterday I crested the hill from land bridge to TA all alone, four people see me and ran their butts off back to the keep instead of slaughtering me, so it has it's advantages.

That "raid" that he had was probably one of the many "tails" he attracts when he's out.
I can't speak for the whole day, but by the time I was on he was just duoing with a friend. This was maybe 15-30 minutes before the TR fight? There was another raid led by someone else, and a warg pack at that time.- Process - Burglar - Viaticus - Windfola -

This is the biggest pile of manure from you to date. Plok will disband a raid when freep numbers are low. And as to your claim that freeps were mostly solo duo and trio I should point out to you that when you have all those solos, duos and trios running side by side, you are a raid.
The raid pack came to the rez several times to run the rez campers off. I am sure you recall that as being true. I was not there at TR when you folks finally achieved critical mass and pushed up. You see, I, and others have to work in the morns, so we tend to stop playing games and sleep.Pouncival-Rank 13-Leader of the Pouncing Pwny
