Due to Sylidor being away for a month (http://forums.lotro.com/showthread.p...340-Going-away) there will be a slight change in Freep RvR times. Lominel and I will be divying up the times during the days of the week where there are enough freeps to form raids. Note that this means we are skipping Monday through Wednesday as it is not worth the time to attempt a raid among the scattered freeps that exist then. Other people who would like to form open raids as Lom and I are doing, please send me a message on the forums or ingame and I'll try to coordinate something with you on this thread.
We will attempt to form a raid at the listed times. If, for whatever reason, we cannot obtain enough players, or the wrong types of players (eg, 12 dps and no healers--as has been the case recently) we will disband early.
In alphabetical order:
Lominel: (all times server time, or EDT)
* Friday: 8-10PM
Synlas: (all times server time, or EDT)
* Thursday: 9-10:59
* Saturday: 9-11:59 (if action is really good, I'll stay out an extra hour)
===Play Styles
A word on play styles of Synlas and Lominel. Please do not join the raid of Syn or Lom if you do not appreciate the style of the particular raid leader, as mentioned below these styles are:
Lominel: Well structured raids, with an emphasis on training freeps in his group to work in a particular way (similar to a PvE raid). Movement tends to be slow, but structured. He fights in both open fields and keeps, but he does favor turning the map blue to "rattle the hornet's nest" and force fights in keeps.
Synlas: I prefer simplicity to complexity, favoring fast movement, using natural cover, with minimal structure and intense focus fire. I dislike taking keeps unless I believe we are in need of pulling more creeps out. Expect near continuous action, though as a corollary, expect regular wipes until I can match the creep numbers. I tend not to tell players how to play their class beyond some key aspects for a fight or general reminders, as I expect them to know their skills better than I after 75 levels of grinding. I also strongly encourage classes to help the inexperienced classes out in a *polite* manner.

Reason: Updated times
This will be the last week until early August where I can lead raids, I've updated the times appropriately above. I am moving and the ISP at my interim destination will hardly handle 6v6 action, let alone 24v24.
I'll still be on for part of this Thursday evening and Saturday, but I may have to end earlier than usual as I still have quite a few items to move out.

What's your stance on lure traps? Do you favor hunters putting out large amount of lure traps?
Here is the Play Style information you requested for Chioslayer and Eaola. Sorry for the delay. Set the date and times as you see fit. I cannot personally attend the Raids because I have made plans to see Sylidor dance at the ballet.
Cheers

A word on play styles of Chioslayer and Eaola. Please do not join the raid of Chioslayer or Eaola if you do not appreciate the style of the particular raid leader, as mentioned below this styles are:
Chioslayer: Well structured raids, with an emphasis on utilizing Store Brands. Whenever a threat to the Raid is detected, especially when Chioslayer may die in PVP, an immediate retreat to the NPCs is triggered. The focus is to locate solo and small groups of Creeps to Zerg.
Eaola: Primary focus on defensive buffs and healing using all possible advantages especially Raid gear items. Eaola is a dedicated leader who will farm Raid items for 6 months before entering Ettenmoors . Always brings a personal pocket RK Healer to avoid any deaths in PVP. Primary strategy is to locate opponents who have no chance of victory.
Normally no, but for Porkrind I don't mind making an exception....

Excellent. I not only like the fact that you are willing to do what I ask, but you are also making an exception for me...implying I am getting special treatment. I like getting special treatment other people and wargs don't get.
You can count on my vote for King Of The Freep Raid Leaders.

I'll be sure to tell Smegs next time I catch him on GW2 that our group of less than 2 fellows counted as 30 all those times we charged you on TR ramp with your 19 "other mostly solo" friends...

Chioslayer: "Wait guys, stay at TR ramp. They'll come eventually. Just stay here. Be patient guys".
Yeah it sure is funny when freeps don't want to get farmed just to be polite.
