Thread: Mirkwood Tower Climber

Does anyone know if there are hidden prerequisites to this deed or if it's bugged in some way?

I know it's still there. I've levelled 3 characters through that region since ROI, but only the second one ever got the credit. At first I thought there might be some level requirements, but I returned at level 75 with the other two characters and still did not get credit.

I don't care for the title, but it's easy 5TP.

I have that title on 10 different toons. All got it while passing thru mirkwood before they were 65. Of course, that was before Isengard came out so it might have gotten broken since then.

I have not done it recently, so I have no information on any possible recent breakage.

However, I did have issues on one character (sorry, don't remember what class, if it even matters). I found both locations and did not get the deed to complete. Whichever one I did second, I ran around the area up top to make absolutely sure I had that location, and went back and "found" the other (again). Got credit that time.

So it may be just as simple as going to one or both of them again.

OTOH, for your characters who did not get it, do they have any similarities in things not done? Such as quests (or number of quests possibily)? If so, that may be a clue. I wish you luck!

Did you have to do "Ridge Climber" in Eregion?

There is not a prereq, but I also had a bug getting it on one guy (this was a few months ago though). I was able to successfully resolve the issue. Try these steps:

1. Log out and back in at each location for the deed (I'm told that this often fixes the problem)
2. If that doesn't work, put in a trouble ticket and get them to help you (this was successful for me)
